Question [02/03] can we change a web page's content on-the-fly?

can we change a web page's content on-the-fly?

not sure where I should ask this question:

I have a web page which includes simple text, for example: "this is a test." Now, I want to add something (maybe javascript?), like a snippet, to the page's source. The snippet includes my ID. So, when the page is loaded, depends on the ID, it will load the code saved on server, AND change the text to "MyID, this is a changed test".

It is just like the google's adsense code, but also change the original web page content.

Is it possible? What I should check for doing this? javascript?...?

    thanks

Yes this is possible and there are several ways you can accomplish it. Since this is mainly a VB site the best option for you is probably going to be ASP.Net, which by the way you can find that forum here.

Although you can write Javascript into your pages yourself Visual Studio will do most of that type of work for you. By that I mean you write Visual Basic Code in the IDE similar to the way you do in windows forms and the web server will take care of turning you code into Html and Javascript for the client (web browsers).
