ok, i haven't programmed in vb, for over a year, and i've forgot a lot. I'm making a real simple program.

i just want it to have 2 text boxes, and take whatever the person types in them, and save them to the hard drive, in a certain file. then the next person to run it enters something, and it saves what they enter also, like right below it...

    sorta in the format
    1stdata:1stdata2
    2nddata:2nddata2

    or
    1stdata:1stdata2; 2nddata:2nddata2

and for this to do this over and over... it's a stupid little program i'm writing for a friend... but i don't know if i can do it on my own, at least the saving part... i know how to design the form, and make the text boxes and everything, i just forget how to save, and never learned how to save more than once...

    any help would be appreciated...

    Code:
Open FileName For Append As #1
    'whatever
    Close #1
That will open the file and write new data on the end of the file.

you can have it in a Command button's click sub, or in a saveFile sub and call the sub from the command button, there's several ways to do it.
