    Thumbs up

Some in the forum seem to have nasty attitudes and like to hijack posts just to prove that they know more than you do.

I would just like to say thanks to you guys for giving great advice and tips with a very patient attitude.

    Hehe

Yeah, it does suck when peeps make a big stinky because someone new asks for help. Same thing with school, i take programming classes and there is always cocky people who ruin the fun for everyone. Oh well, guess the best thing to do is ignore em.

You're totally right. I used to ignore them, and from now on I will again. I've seen too many Know-it-alls give programmers a bad reputation.

    Question Hijacking??

Just curious as to what you mean by "hijacking" posts. I think it is important to get as many different opinions to a question as you can, especially with programming as there are usually so many different ways of solving a single problem. Now what I do have a problem with is when somebody asks a serious question and then somebody responds by making fun of their question and essentially their intelligence. Is this what you mean by hijacking?

    Yeah,
That's what I mean, when somebody attempts to embarrass
you with a smartass comment that has nothing to do with your question.
