yeah that is cool. ;)
Nice to have an insurance policy...
About last week or the week before.... when the shuttle was re entering through the atmosphere... we could here the giant sonic boom.. it was loud as hell it sounded like it exploded instead of just breaking the sound barrier... it was cool though

The shuttle landed out here. We all went out to the flight line to watch it. It was very cool. The double sonic boom when it lands is caused by the body of the craft being wide, the first boom is the nose of the craft and the second is caused by the wave deflecting up onto and around the wide body. Plus the shuttle lands at a 30 degree down angle (much steeper than your average craft).
Sophtware: Where do you live that you could hear the boom?
