Mornin' All,
I had a very nice E-mail from Martin this morning explaining that he did read all the posts in the thread, but actually meant that he couldn't read all the posts on the site. I misread this part, and that was the main thing I was complaining about. So, as I posted my complaint up here publically, I think it is only fair that I post the text of my apology to him as well.
====================
Martin,
Thank you for your prompt reply. I must say that I owe you an apology. I misconstrued your post to mean that you hadn't bothered to read any of the thread. I see now from your response that you actually meant that you can't read every post on the site. So, sorry for that misunderstanding.
I do agree that the reduction in Ethnic slurs etc. has improved the site, and I think that this is a fair comment.
Thank you for taking the time to respond. It is very much appreciated.
=============================
I must say that he has gone up considerably in my estimation by responding with a calm and very well constructed reply. I understand that his job is not an easy one and he is doing the best he can.
Cheers,
SD

That's just an annoyance, that's not bad! It's a challenge, a chance to excel, an opporunity to learn...no of these are bad things!

You're implying that it isn't actually raining at present. I don't believe you!
