I hope people don't fall for it, but at the same time there's the old saying: fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.

There's an old saying in Tennessee. I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee. That says, fool me once, shame on..........shame on you. Fool me.......... you can't get fooled again.

The thing is, when everything goes off as planned, that's not as interesting. Yes, it could be a terrific achievement, but a fiasco tends to be legendary. Was a movie made about any moon mission other than Apollo 13, the one that went wrong?

Everyone knows that the earth is actually a 2-dimensional line, and the moon is fake anyways.

Those so called "flat earthers" make too many assumptions that we even live in a 3-dimensional world. They're clearly wrong.

Re: Post Race!
The shoulder season is upon us. I've been up cross country skiing in the mountains twice in the last few days, and both times it was mediocre to bad. We're getting more snow, but is it worth going skiing, or should I just call it quits for the year? I'm pretty sure that today would be bad, but tomorrow might be okay. Certainly by next week it will be over.
It's such an indecisive time. It's warm, it's cold, it snows, it rains...and that's just today.

Re: Post Race!
We had those terrible thunderstorms pass through. Thankfully I'm so far south that we barely got the tail end of it, but the Northshore got hammered from what I watched on the news. Other than that, it's been beautiful here. Mid-60s with low 70 highs and low-60 lows. The sun is out pretty much all day. I have nothing to complain about.

We don't get those storms. The weather patterns that create the big midwestern tornadoes (we're number 1 in tornadoes) are all south and east of Idaho.

Re: Post Race!
Moti finally wrote about VBForums, besides other places, saying it's a coordinated attack by elites at OpenAI and Google, to suppress his work. Members here are paid trolls to silence him and his imaginary team, so his simple chatbot, which he laughably labels as an AGI, never goes mainstream.
He used one of his alternate personalities, Owly, to write about Moti Barski "the project’s creator". I'm guessing he forgot that his Owly profile on that site states he's his chatbot's project manager.

Re: Post Race!
One of the fun things about Moti is that he can't keep track of his different persona. At one point on his old forum, he asked a question as one person, answered it as a different person, then got into a conversation between the two. Within just a couple messages, he switched roles.

It was funny how he pretended to be some kid here, NTShpikho, who happened to discover his chatbot, which later morphed into himself in some fantasy world with all of his personas.

Perhaps he has decided that Funky isn't real, or that we're all the same person. The latter seems more fitting for him, considering that's how he lives. He may have decided we are one person.

Re: Post Race!
to quote Monthy Python: And now for something completely different.....
Background: Today we have to do a stock inventory at a customer of ours.
Our "merchandise" is stored in bins, which each one has a label with a 1D-Barcode, numeric content
Just got a phone-call....
User: "Zvoni, we can't do the Inventory. Something's wrong with the Scanner and/or Laptop"
Me: "Why? What's happend?"
User: "Each Barcode i scan i get hieroglyphs!""
Me: "Say again? What do those hieroglyphs look like?"
User (spelling it): "$$%&§$%%())(/"
Me (my eyes looking at my Keyboard, and noticing all mentioned Characters being in the top row of the keyboard): "Uh? By any chance: Is your CAPS-LOCK on?"
User: "Wait a second..... OH YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME..."$§%%§&"% (unprintable exclamation in polite company)"
Me: *facepalm*
Yeah, right... he got the embarrassement in front of the customer....
