When do you take the SAT? Is it only in the US?
Don't pay attention to this signature, it's contradictory.

in the UK SATs are something 13 year olds take. But it's not compulsory, so I never did.

What the hell does bellicose mean? Is it like sugar or something?
I never did sats either, only the people on the other side of the big round window did that. I had to watch the Tellytubbies instead while swallowing some nasty medicine.
I don't live here any more.

Ok are the SAT's in the UK differnet from the SAT's in the US? I mean are they given to people at differnet ages? Because I know while ago they wanted to give SAT's to kids in year 3 or something silly like that.

I'm not sure. I know they covered stuff like Math, Reading Comprehension, etc...
Funny thing is...I had horrible grades in High School (like a 1.2 GPA). I wanted to study architecture, so I went to UMKC (University of Missouri - Kansas City) and applied for their architecture program, which only accepts 30 students a year.
They saw my high school transcripts and about laughed me out of the admissions office. They said I had to take the ACT test anyway as an admission requirement, but it wasn't likely that I would get into the architecture program with my past grades.
So I took the ACT test, scored a 31 on it (out of 36) national average is like 19 or 21.
Well apparently by school or state or national standards (I don't know which) A score of 26 or higher will allow a student to be automatically accepted into any limited selection program.
So although I had horrible high school transcripts, I was automatically accepted into the architecture program, because of my ACT score.
And here I am a Software Developer for a company that creates banking software....
wait...how did I go from architecture to computer programming???
I must have taken a wrong turn somewhere.
Oh yeah, I remember now. I wanted to be an architect to design upscale homes, but then I was introduced (through an internship) that architects don't really do that anymore. The contractors pretty much design the houses now.
Architects do more of the commercial area of design.
I just couldn't see myself designing Burger Kings for the rest of my life!
So I took my associates in Engineering and transferred to computers.
Not that I have anything against Burger King!

apparently the SAT's are changing soon. My little sisters class will be the first to have the new SAT's (she's 8th grade now, 9th grade in the fall). They'll have 3 sections, 2400 points overall instead of 1600. Writing i think is being added

well the whole test is curved. So the grading is always different
for example I got 3 wrong on the math (we won't talk about verbal haha) out of about 55, but I got a 720.
