    I have frmSplash,frmMain,frmAbout
    In frmAbout I have 2 option buttons
    1=Display Splash 2 = Hide Splash
    I would like the user to have the ability
    to hide the slash screen if they choose to.

    How do I do this...Please be explicitly clear with code as I am new to these particular instances of VB.

    Thank You

    'Put this where you would save the setting:
    SaveSetting app.EXEName, "Options", "Splash", Check1.Value

    'Put this where you would get the setting:
    x = GetSetting(app.EXEName, "Options", "Splash", True)
    'x = GetSetting (appname as string, section as string, key as string, setting as string) (The setting is the default, if there is no value for that key)

    The first part of your code I put in the option button or check button that says load splash always...

    Then:

    Your second code (where I look) below..the 2nd last line is commented out..am I to use only one line and if so does it go in the form load of the splash screen as that is the first sceen accessed.
    I tried the one line and it gives and erron on the App.MyName.exe

    I assume if x= 1 then I unload frmSplash
    and load frmMain.

    'Put this where you would get the setting:
    x = GetSetting(app.EXEName, "Options", "Splash", True)
    'x = GetSetting (appname as string, section as string, key as string, setting as string) (The setting is the default, if there is no value for that key)

    Thank you.
