What kind of firewall do you use?
Delete it. They just clutter threads anyway.

Windows firewall on my computer and the router's firewall are both active, surely if it was the firewall it would stop downloads from both firefox and ie, also as the downloads are http traffic wouldnt I have problem browsing sites if it was the firewall?
Could it be firefox and ie7 clashing somehow? has anyone who's got it working with ie got firefox installed?
Do you wake up in the morning feeling sleepy and grumpy? Then you must be Snow White

It's not fire fox causing the problem because it still happens even if you uninstall Fire fox.

    Edit:

It is not the fire wall either! I havd Windows Firewall disabled and uninstalled my other firewall and the file still doesn't download.
