The mass of a 12" vinyl is 149.685484313965 grams.
You are interested in the mass of the record plus that of the turntable platter (or whatever it is called) which is a lot more than the record.

When I get home from work, I'm gonna upload an update to my program. There's a problem that's gonna need solved, only apparently I hope you all are good at math to be able to pull this off.

I didn't get a chance to update the prog completely. Issues at home with my family.

    Thanks though.

    *Bump*

i'm gonna upload a huge update to my DJ prog when I get home, but I need help with the physics. I came up with a formula for the frequencies to go with the vinyl perfectly too.

    Jacob Roman,

Just ran your scratchin' program and it's quite good. Here's an idea... put digital counters on the screen so that if one stops the record to scratch they know exactly where they can release it to get the exact position of a sound , word or note. In this way you can do scratchin and mixing the way it is supposed to be.

Of course the counter has to move with the scratchin to be acurate.
