Crystal Reports Problem
I've built a vb 6 program and using Crystal Reports Developer 10, I have embeded several reports. When I try to install the app to another machine "Which has the same operating system, Windows XP", I get the error: "Component 'CRViewer.dll" or one of its dependancys not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid". I know that CRViewer is registered because I registered it myself. And CRViewer only has one dependant file associated with it "Olepro32.dll" which isn't missing or invalid. Anyone have any Idea what is wrong. Thank you

There are other dependent files needed by CR. If you are running
CR Developer version then you will have a help file called
runtime.hlp. This file contains a complete listing of what files are
required for every CR method, function, control, etc.

Thanks RobDog888 but since I posted this message I have aquired Install Shield Developer. That has solved that problem. However a problem I do have at this time is setting the path for the database. I have the path hardcoded in the reports. I don't know how to set the report using app.path so the reports don't have to be installed in any particular place.

This is what I use to open reports and to set an ADO recordsource.
Also, add a parameter
VB Code:
Set moReport = crxApp.OpenReport(App.Path & "\" & sReport, 1)
moReport.Database.Tables(1).SetLogOnInfo sServer, sDatabase, sUserName, sUserPwd
moReport.ParameterFields.Item(1).ClearCurrentValueAndRange
moReport.ParameterFields.Item(1).AddCurrentValue sTitle
moReport.Database.SetDataSource goRs, 3, 1
