    Re: Values in Array

The most easy way should be to retrieve only the unique values (States) from the database.

    Re: MsgBox 256 * 256

Because the numbers are seen as integers and the product doesn’t fit in an integer
  4. Re: I want when I click inside the combo a message appears to the user?

The ComboBox doesn't have any Mouse events, so I think you need to subclass or setting a hook to get additional information.

  5. Re: I want when I click inside the combo a message appears to the user?

You can try the GotFocus() event.
And ignore this when the DropDown event has fired first.
  6. Re: Complied app hangs on Exit Function statement

A GoSub in an actual program.
Haven't seen that for a long time (must be back in 1992 or something)

I would first move the GoSub to an actual Procedure (Sub).
And then see if the program still...

  10. Re: What is the best way to hide online database password?

Not exposing your DB to the web would be the best and thus no need for credentials.

VS 2010 Re: Square decomposition brute force

I still don't understand your goal.
You want an arbitrary number to be split in the sum of N squares?
Where do you need this for or is just some fun project?

Why doesn't this give a type mismatch error?

    Re: align text in listbox

Use a fixed font or use tabs and some API calls:

Or even better, use a grid control
  16. Re: Publishing an application to use it in an other computer

I think you need to set the DisplayAlerts property of the Excel application to False
  17. Re: Please how to know the number of items in a listview column?

Listview1.Listitems.Count gives the number of the rows in the ListView
ListView1.ColumnHeaders.Count gives the number of columns in the ListView

This should give you something to work with.

  33. Re: VBFlexGrid Control (Replacement of the MSFlexGrid control)

Maybe an additional event CompareValues and an additional sort method, CustomValue
  34. Re: VBFlexGrid Control (Replacement of the MSFlexGrid control)

And that's because you can not just pass the 2 values to compare, but because the sorted items can also be things like the backcolor of the cell or it's custom data property?
  35. Re: VBFlexGrid Control (Replacement of the MSFlexGrid control)

Bubblesort is stable, but very slow, sorting method
Mergesort is also stable and much faster.

I don't have a clue what you want to do
  37. Re: Is it possible to get an example of how to drag an image from ?

You have to explain in more words what you want to achieve.
What scanner? Which surface? Which Model?
  38. Re: VBFlexGrid Control (Replacement of the MSFlexGrid control)

How many records are you talking about?

How do you initially fill the grid?
If it's from a query then you could add sorting to the query.
If it's from some other dataset then you could do a sort...
