  1. Re: CHECK if in dir are present 2 files, else msgobox

For something this trivial calling Dir$() is fairly fat and floppy, and it interrupts any use of Dir$() already in progress. Avoid it.

If you seriously live in a world where you must deal with...

Just trap errors on calls to the GetAttr function. If it fails then the file doesn't exist.

    Re: Access the excel statusbar

The last version of VB (6.0) was released in 1998. It was never free, though there was a stripped down "Learning Edition" that was bundled with some books and in-person courses back in the day.

    Re: Rotated text

    You need to compare declarations.

You were using the ANSI calls which in VB6 results in translation to and then back from ANSI, wasting CPU time on two conversions.

    Unicode (wide) calls don't...

LUA Buglight - Get it now

We're getting used to tools, components, and docs drying up. Better grab this one while it is still hot:

  11. Re: fill a combobox with a sorted files in dir c:\,ydir\

The Shell Lightweight API offers us a compare procedure for this.

Very long lists don't belong in a list picker (ListBox) anyway, so fancy sorting should normally not be required:
