    Re: How Recognize geometric shapes

Not sure, what you mean... (can only guess, that you mean a certain Color-Tolerance)?

As it currrently is, he FloodFill-based algo has a single If condition (related to the Color-Matching):

Well, it certainly wasn't you (nor uncleber or baka),
who answered the OPs question directly with 2 VB6-based examples.

    Exactly.

In that regard, how do *you* serialize DB-Resultsets these days?
(e.g. when you're about to transfer them from the Webserver-side to a Browser)...

In VB6 we can do this (e.g. using...

The MS-XML-COM-lib was mentioned in the VB6 VBForums-thread of the first link as well.

Re: code conversion from vb.net to vb6.0

Bad idea to use normal String-Concats for Node- or Attribute-content
(because certain chars need to be escaped).

As always, you .NETers underestimate the amount of available COM-Objects VB6...
  10. Re: VB6 usercontrol takes away focus from NET usercontrol

I'm not going to do that, because it would be "bad advice" IMO.

Dragging .NET-stuff into a working VB6-App isn't a good idea at all (as the current problems show)...
In addition, it just opens a...
  11. Re: VB6 usercontrol takes away focus from NET usercontrol

There's enough ready-made Virtual (ownerdrawn) Controls in the VB6-Codebank,
which make stuff like that equally easy.
    e.g. here:...
  12. Re: VB6 usercontrol takes away focus from NET usercontrol

I didn't ask for an explanation how WPF works.

My question was related to my recommendation, to use a true COM-control (instead of a .NET one).
    (e.g. why not use a VB6-TextBox on a...
  13. Re: VB6 usercontrol takes away focus from NET usercontrol

IMO the easiest way would be, to just use a COM-Control, which does the same thing as the .NET-one.

What is it (speciality-wise), the WPF-based control does?
