    Re: Reading Proficiency and Programming

:)Yeah. I deliberately went overly verbose to make the point. In the age of intellisense you can use a frickin' essay as a variable/method name if you want so get as descriptive as you can.

    Re: Reading Proficiency and Programming

Sort of. You would want to indicate the reason but you wouldn't do it via a comment, you'd do it by breaking out another function and giving it a descriptive title.

    The first improvement I'd make...

I think something got confused here. I thought (incorrectly) that Baka had made the argument that there was no historical precedent of fining for not getting vaccinated - I responded saying, in...

Re: Corona virus, China major city lockdowns, etc.

Honestly, can we stop comparing any of this to Nazism. Nazism goes well beyond anything that either side of this debate is advocating and the continual comparison to it is hateful.

    Because we...

There's whole movement advocating for comment free code and has been for at least 20 years. Personally I'm a believer. You have to be rigorous in your coding habits though.

I tried switching the UAC off but it didn't help.

I've got the IT department going through logs etc so hopefully they'll come back with something useful.

I have heard that South Africa's young demographic might be skewing that. I don't know the truth of that though. What I have heard is that this variant seems to be a lot less deadly but, again,...
  14. Re: Directory.Exists failing on cross domain call. LogonUser returns Token Zero

OK, have tried all the above except changing it to the Network Service Account (and having more of a read around that I think it could well be the problem). However, I can't seem to achieve that.

No, it evolves as it infects, hence "who was unable to beat the virus". If infection were brought down it could not evolve.

My (entirely uneducated) understanding is that it depends on which vaccine you're getting. Some of them get squished by a strong immune system, others trigger a reaction from that immune system.
