  1. Re: Explanation of bi-dimensional Arrays ... Please!

This reminds me more of a class with a standard-property, where the Index-Argument is a variant.
pass an integer, and it works like an index of an array
pass a string it behaves like a dictionary...
  2. Re: Explanation of bi-dimensional Arrays ... Please!

I haven't understood a single word of it
  3. Re: Explanation of bi-dimensional Arrays ... Please!

As Arnout wrote: Once a dynamic 2D-Array (or more Dimensions) has been "ReDim"-ed you can only change the last Dimension in subsequent ReDim (Preserve)
If you want/need a clean slate, you need to...
  4. MsOf365 Re: Question [Excel][VBA][Form][ListView] Get list subitems

    Thx Gary,
so i was actually pretty close with my guess
  6. Re: Security Question: MS SQL direct access using windows authentication

    Gary,
i'm still trying to wrap my mind around that row-level-"GRANT"
The only way i could fathom that to work how you described would be (for lack of better terms):
    1) that Function works...
  7. Re: [Excel][VBA][Form][ListView] Get list subitems

IIRC there is a HitTest-API for the ListView-Control
and i think it has even been mentioned here on the forum a few times (i think Luca90 had a similiar question)
  8. Re: Security Question: MS SQL direct access using windows authentication

See my post #4 and post #7 for Column-Wise GRANT's

Re: Unable to Access MySQL Remotely

OK, i'll take this IT-guys "translation NAT rule" as port-fowarding

In that case: Yes, i missed/misunderstood that, since i've never heard of port-forwarding being expressed as a "translation NAT...
  10. Re: How to bold selected words in RichTextBox?

    In a loop:
Search for the (first/next) occurence of "#B#".
if it's the opening Tag, Add 3 to the result, and save it. i'd use a dynamic 2D-Array, with the "start" saved in the first dimension...
  11. Re: [RC6]Install,Is RC6 unable to register under XP system?

    Olaf,
maybe put something on your website (About, Download or both) in Fontsize 200 in Bold (and no, the FontSize 200 / "two hundred" is not a Typo... *evilgrin*)
"RC6 requires Windows 7 or higher"...

    dday,

    what i did then:

    2) Create MySQL-User (locally as "root"): UserName: Zvoni - Host: % --> 'Zvoni'@'%'

Re: MySQL & ADO queries speed

Don't think so, since UpdateBatch is a Method of the ADODB.RecordSet-Object

RecordSet is (implicitely?) set into "Edit"-mode (for lack of better word)
    You loop...

Re: MySQL & ADO queries speed

You should always try to bulk-upload, and packing multiple SQL's into a Transaction is never a bad idea (Rollback!).

Though, i have no idea if bulk-upload with parameters is possible.
  23. Re: [Word] Trying to automatically change the font size of numbers in a textbox
