Re: c/c++ code for vb6 multithreading

JFYI, smkperu and JSVenu are the same person most probably. Moreover JSVenu has been (desperately) posting from multiple accounts in the past too.

  2. Re: [VB6] Simple AES 256-bit password protected encryption

AesEncryptString returns a base64 encoded result, the same way base64_encode encodes the result in the PHP code above and the same way final -a parameter to openssl.exe encodes the output in base64....
  3. Re: [VB6] Simple AES 256-bit password protected encryption

This bug mysteriously resurfaced apparently, combined with poor error handling.

    All fixed now!

    Diff of changes is here.

  4. Re: Which Access Database Engine i need to download and install ?

    1. If you have MS Office installed already (be it a Home and Student edition) you don't need to setup separate ACE installation

    Re: FileCopy to Linux server

You can use winfsp (free and open-source) to map any SFTP server to a Windows drive.

Your Linux admins already use SSH to administer the box, so enabling SFTP for a regular user is an sshd_config...

    Re: [VB6/VBA] WinXP compatible HMAC

    Re: [VB6] HMAC-SHA-256, HMAC-SHA-1 Using Crypto API

You can copy the PtrSafe API declares from WinXP compatible HMAC codebank submission which is x64 compatible.

In x64 version of the OS the handles are 64-bit too i.e. must use LongPtr parameters...

    [VB6/VBA] WinXP compatible HMAC

The module includes a single GetHMAC function which can be used with all SHA-2, SHA1 and MD5 hashes.

The module is taken care to work in x64 VBA too and is compatible down to XP SP3.

    Re: FileCopy to Linux server

Definately easiest would be to use SFTP as (most probably) its already installed on the server.

Re: How to test if a font is available

Though kludgy it's the fastest way to test font existence *and* you don't need "unseen object" but just a regular StdFont instance to do it, something like this:

  30. Re: how to write in excel file of sql query result
