    Re: xmlhttp async problem

    I'm not sure that will help because you will have to set or verify the attribute in your own programs. Small edits can easily wipe it out.

    Did you create a class named SinkRSChange?
  2. Re: VB6: GDIPLUS - how change pixels colors on a faster way

    ColorMap() is an array of pairs of ARGB colors, each pair being "old color" and "new color" to substitute.

    Not sure why you want to pixel-fiddle. I thought you wanted fast.
  3. Re: VB6: GDIPLUS - how change pixels colors on a faster way

    Well, one obvious way is to use GdipSetImageAttributesRemapTable():

    Option Explicit

    Private Sub Form_Load()
    Dim ColorMap(5) As Long

    ScaleMode = vbPixels
    AutoRedraw = True

    Re: xmlhttp async problem

    A problem with MSXML is that the bonehead parts of it were optimized for use from JScript. As a result you have to simulate JScript event binding in VB6.

    Use the MSHFlexgrid instead. I know many of the pirated copies of VB6 out there lack many of the best controls, but that's no excuse.

    No, I think he meant synchronous as in blocking. He wants to write QBasic in VB6.

    Re: Extended ascii characters

    Label.Caption allows font matching. TextBox.Text does not. That's the difference.

    My hack was just a hack, but at least this improves it if perspective is what you're after. Sounds like a reasonable assumption though.
