  1. Re: Cannot debug 'Subscription out of range error'

    Yes, you're right.
Got confused with it. I rarely use Ranges in my VBA

    Re: VBA Function returns 0

    Which solution are you using?
If you use mine, you shouldn't assign the result of the StrSpn-API-Call directly to the Function-Result (as in my example, that was quick and extremely dirty!)

    It...
  3. Re: Cannot debug 'Subscription out of range error'

Yes, that's possible to "interpose" the Range-Object there.
The Cells following after it are then refering to the Range, not the Sheet (Think as in "offset").
Cells(1,1) would be the Top-Left cell...

Re: Delete all records in a table

To me it actually makes perfect sense, to not use the '*' in the DELETE statement (contrary to a SELECT).

  10. Re: Cannot debug 'Subscription out of range error'

What are the values for i and j when your code throws the error?
And how many Columns and Rows does that Range have?
If you have a Range, say A3:B4, you have 2 columns and 2 rows, but your Loop...

Looks like "shifting" an array "down" an element (a.k.a removing first element)

    I advise against such a migration-tool.

Yes, start with a simple project, and port it, but "rewrite it" in a way.

Porting not that much, since i'm not (and never was) a professional dev.
Mainly stuff i use at work, which were Excel-VBA-things that i moved/ported to Lazarus.
