MsOf365 Re: [Access] Folder Path Issue

The error message is saying "Invalid folder path" because that is the hard-coded message in your error handler routine.

Comment out the "On Error Goto..." line in the Sub that isn't working, try...

Re: Large integer to binary conversation vb6

You've already asked the exact same question in this thread:

You were given suggestions, none of which you seem to have...

    Re: Select case with this

Right, because obviously you're suddenly a VB6 expert.

Or, are you a 58 year old with memory loss issues?

Or a 76 year old with no time to learn how to program?

    Your evolution is fascinating.
  4. Re: if treeview nodes exit if not then add help

Didn't you say you were 58 in another thread? A 76 year old desperate to create some sort of multiplayer MAME emulator? Something doesn't smell right, and it's not adult diapers...

    Re: Decimal to binary error

Since number is defined as an Integer, the maximum value it can store is 32767. If you make it a Long instead, then it can store a much larger number.

    Good luck.

VS 2022 Re: Check for free memory

On a side-note, as written, your posted code is checking if there is <= 60 GB free, not 6 GB.
  7. Re: Vb6: read richtextbox line by line; out of string space

You need to do it, why?

What you are doing in code now is completely nonsensical for multiple reasons. Give a small example of:

    1. The contents of RichTextBox1 before Command1 is clicked

This is a programming forum. Olaf was providing programming advice. The fact that you are using his product means he can't offer programming advice as well? Seriously? That's just so laughably...

  17. Re: Convert binary data to a valid Unicode string whitout wasting (much) space ❓

What happens if you use your old code with your old access database...
  18. Re: Convert binary data to a valid Unicode string whitout wasting (much) space ❓

Ok, I can see the ambiguity.

The "they" is the writer of RC6. I'm saying if Eduardo thinks so little of Olaf's code (rightly or wrongly (but obviously wrongly)), then Eduardo probably just...
  19. Re: Convert binary data to a valid Unicode string whitout wasting (much) space ❓

So yeah, you probably shouldn't use or distribute software written by someone who you think doesn't know what they are doing. Thread solved.

    Good luck.
