  1. Re: Finding the location of a specific image inside a PictureBox

    This is a very complex topic. Why do you need that functionality? What are you trying to do? Perhaps there are other ways to accomplish what you want.

  4. Re: Adding VB6 OCX to VB.Net Windows form

    I did some quick research. When I examine the Event Viewer I find this: (when trying to use this ocx myself)

  5. Re: Adding VB6 OCX to VB.Net Windows form

    Hi,

    Perhaps you could provide a little more info? What is VideoSoft? Where did you get the ocx? How does Visual Studio crash? Do you get any error message?

    Thank you.

    Re: Randomize Questions and Answers

    I see people initializing huge arrays directly in code. Wouldn't it be much easier to just store all that text in a resource and load it from there?
  8. Re: A bookkeeping program I wrote in QBasic/Quick Basic

    Okay, I have deciced I am not going to try converting this program to vb.net. Instead I attached two program's that both handle similar data as to what my bookkeeping program does. Namely a table of...
  9. Re: Bookkeeping program, attempted conversion to VBDOS

    Okay, forget it, VBDOS is way too clunky for me. It might be possible but isn't worth it for me.

    This is for C# but may point you in the right direction:
    https://stackoverflow.com/questions/186822/capturing-console-output-from-a-net-application-c

    Otherwise I have no idea.

    @nicogalan:
    You already have your own code? Could you post it so I can look at it?

  14. Bookkeeping program, attempted conversion to VBDOS

    I tried converting this:

    To Visual Basic for MS-DOS. Mostly, the code got updated a little. I...
  15. Re: A bookkeeping program I wrote in QBasic/Quick Basic

    Okay, the file handling issues should be fixed now. The version attached to this thread is broken! I recommend checking Githhub for the most recent update.
  16. Re: A bookkeeping program I wrote in QBasic/Quick Basic

    Okay, I fixed some issues with the code I uploaded here. The updated version can be downloaded at GitHub:

    Re: Returning to VB after 20 years

    Depending on what it is you might be better off rewriting it from scratch in vb6. Or perhaps even vb.net. What kind of program is it and what was it meant for?

  22. Re: [RESOLVED] Simulating an interrupt call using CALL FAR and PUSHF

    Okay, it looks I was too quick to assume the problem was solved. The modified TSR seemingly works but I have noticed two major bugs:

  23. Re: Simulating an interrupt call using CALL FAR and PUSHF

    Thank you, that partially solved the problem. I modified the code as follows:

    TSR:
    PUSHA ; Saves the registers.
    PUSH DS ;
    PUSH ES ;
    ...
  24. [RESOLVED] Simulating an interrupt call using CALL FAR and PUSHF
