I didn't mention it, and it is documented in another post here, but if you wrap the code I posted in a try/catch it will stop disposing of Excel. There were a few explanations given for that. I...

Here is an example I found:
Imports Microsoft.Office.Interop
Public Class Form1
Private xl As Excel.Application
Private xlWorkBook As Excel.Workbook
Private xlWorksheet As...

The first thing I would do is get it so after you run it Excel has been properly closed (no longer running in Task manager). If you Google how to close Excel properly from .Net you will get lots of...
-
Just for grins after a few tests look at the task manager and see if you have multiple versions of Excel running. That can cause odd errors.
-
Good luck and hope your new position works out for you.

Naw...he likes upsetting liberals. He likes it when our hair is on fire.
-
I mentioned that about 10 pages ago :p

I can't really help out but I did want to post a working example of a background worker that forum member put together. Maybe it will give you an idea:

Sometimes I can't take yes for an answer

Doesn't that prove my point? I thought you were calling Covid-19 a once in a hundred years plague but you just named a few near misses. They would have been one hundred year pandemics but for...
-
Well it certainly didn't work out like that this time...the virus not "cancelled out" by any means.
-
That may have been true historically but I don't think that is valid anymore. A hundred years ago you couldn't go just about anywhere in the world in twenty-four hours. There are literally billions...
-
I bought one a month or so ago...shortly after they came out. I'm very happy with it.

Geez..the name was right there on the error page:
https://www.datamation.com/
Then go to the cloud link on the main page.
The link at the second error page:

Urine in a lot of trouble if they figure out it is you

What has always worked for me is to blame the last contractor :p

That sentiment is basically the point of my original post...I have lots of alternative news sources. My cable options suck because my choices are basically FOX and CNN.
-
Some times I have a hard time understanding where you are coming from...
-
My point exactly. It is a good thing I like to read.
-
I catch a 1/2 hour of the BBC on our public television station every morning and I also have a link the the BBC digital news. I do find them fair. I also have a link to Al Jazeera but that is...
-
OK...I admit I'm a dinasour, pun intended, bring me up to speed. If I wanted what I said in my post "a 24/7 cable news station that really is a news station" on my living room TV how would I go...

There are "food deserts" that are an urban area in which it is difficult to buy affordable or good-quality groceries. There are also hospital deserts that are by some definitions a community more...

Or maybe another type of life style

Looks like he is left of Bush in that picture...
-
I'm thinking this thread is going to be winding down. One sure sign a thread is dying is when ShaggyHiker starts making puns :p
This probably doesn't fit here but Faux news and Trump were pretty...
-
I'm working on letting him go. Trump being off of twitter helps immensely. I see what Faux news is going to be doing now that he is gone. It has switched to non-stop democrat bashing. It was...
-
I hope your not going to be around here long. Maybe the moderators can head you off at the pass...
-
You have those pictures switched...PERIOD - Just ask Sean Spicer
-
I was thinking along the lines of the demographics and it isn't a "hard fast rule". Most Trump supporters are from the more rural areas and most of the Biden supporters are from the larger city...
-
I think for the most part your will find that to be true. It might have something to do with education levels. I'm rabidity anti-Trump myself; but learning to let go.
-
Thank you! My sentiments exactly...
-
I had that out of context then.
-
"Banning Trump from running in 2024"
Maybe he'll be in a state prison by then.
-
"Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, the newly elected Republican from Georgia, took to Twitter Wednesday to announce that she will be filing articles of impeachment against President-elect Joe Biden a day...

Another translation could be: Seus fatos objetivos relevantes destroem minha narrativa frágil

He isn't going anywhere...he will continue to be a stain on this country until looonnngggg after he is gone.
-
But he never said a word about all his lies and incitement since the election. It was forced and meaningless. He gets zero credit from me.
-
There is that "what aboutism". Favorite tools of republicans...ignore the point that was made and attack the person that said it.
-
That sounds like "The winds of change". Maybe Dylan was right: "The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind".
-
History repeats itself, what goes around comes around, all those old saws...I'm referring to republicans finally dropping Trump like they did Nixon.
Liz Cheney, number three in the republican...
