    Per the MSDN documentation, the GotFocus event would fire immediately after the Enter event. Is it possible that you have code overwriting the code shown in the Enter event?

    The issue was on the client's server. They were very restrictive in their cross-origin policy and as a workaround I'm using the cordova community HTTP plugin to send requests outside of the browser.
