    My guess is that's an overloaded function, and the compiler is confused by inaccurate argument...

    I just checked every version of VB i have installed. Other than VB2005 and VB2010 and VB2013 which i don't have installed, all versions offered you to choose the solution and location - on creation....

    I have a paid for version of VS2010, which i never use. On my win10 workstation, i have VS2008, VS2012, VS2015, VS2017, VS2019, all of which run ok. But VS2008 loads fastest

    I always found VS2010 to be sluggish in performance. You could download the free version of VS2019
