I don't usually bash people like JMC does (no offense intended there JMC) but it looks like you refuse to read the documentation as he said in the previous post.

    How about this: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dotnet/api/system.console.readkey?view=netframework-2.0

VS 2019 Re: Protecting files from theft

That one made me giggle, because it does not really apply in Greece. Here we have a WYSIWYG on file copying policy so we double protect stuff just to be sure :D

VS 2019 Re: Protecting files from theft

I would suggest to better fix the network authorization of the users rather than creating fingerprints.

  8. Re: Get CPU usage of specific process

The values come wrongly all over the place and most of the higher than 100.

    I'll just use WMI.

    Thanks.
  9. Re: Get CPU usage of specific process

I can't understand what this is.

    Boy, MS idiots!

    Hey.
First I don't know what "TM" is.
Now, forget WMI, I have resolved everything that has to do with WMI.
My only concern is getting the LOCAL CPU percentage on the processes and I will try to do...
  13. Re: Get CPU usage of specific process

As I've mentioned in my first post:
In WMI that is not an Issue (well it is because WMI sometimes will give out wrong CPU calculations but I can't use all the process features for...
  14. Re: Creating scheduled tasks on remote computers within VB

I suppose if it has the same behavior are remote processes then it will be possible with WMI.
Microsoft has the lamest most updated excuse of an example here:...
  15. Re: Get CPU usage of specific process

The answer on why to use WMI on remote machines is this:

If you don't see it then just try to do this on a remote machine and get properties:
    Dim pr() As System.Diagnostics.Process =...
  16. [RESOLVED] Get CPU usage of specific process

    Hi.
I have created a task manager that works with WMI and get the processes CPU usage.
Now in WMI you just have the process time straight up without having to do double datetime calculations.

It seems to work with the "hack" for me without doing any fancy movement of the mouse.

  30. Re: Close a child form of MDI Form on Load

    HI JMC.
