    Re: Change Event of Textbox

I'd handle that in a dedicated ChangeIDto(NewID) routine:

    Sub ChangeIDto(NewID)
tbID.Text = NewID 'just reflect the ID in a disabled TextBox
ShowData NewID 'do some additional action,...
  2. Re: Convert SVG shape to cairo path for clipping operation with RC5/RC6 in vb6

    Sorry for the delay...

I could probably provide the cSVG-Class with a few more methods, to "ease access of the DOM-Nodes" from the outside -
but then - there's already cSimpleDOM, which allows...
  3. Re: [RC6]Install,Is RC6 unable to register under XP system?

There already is such a thing (without the exclusive features of the RC6) -> RC5 works on XP.

In most Projects it is really just a switch of the reference - then recompile - and you are back in...
  4. Re: Explanation of bi-dimensional Arrays ... Please!

Not sure, but perhaps the OP wants to use Z as a kind of "LookupTable"?

  5. Re: [RC6]Install,Is RC6 unable to register under XP system?

The problem goes deeper than that, because there's several exports (from common Win32-Dlls),
which are simply not yet included in the system-libs on XP.

Good you brought up *this* example -...
  6. Re: [RC6]Install,Is RC6 unable to register under XP system?

RC6 is for Win7 and higher Win-OSes (due to dependencies on more modern VC++ runtimes in its satellite-Dlls).

RC5 on the other hand should work well on XP.

Re: SQLite & RC 5 query for month and year

I wouldn't use any extra-calls to SQL-functions (like strftime) in the Select...

  13. Re: How to open file, search text and formatting in vbrichclient?

No, as far as "general rules" go... coding is (IMO) all about:

Re: GraphQL has anyone used it with vb6?

There's JSON-supporting Classes for VB6, which would have allowed you to write:

    Inp.Prop("on_site") = on_site
    a.s.o
