Re: Curiosity! (about Controls at Runtime)

Your dynamically loaded controls are not public accessible items
So you need to expose them first.
  2. Re: How to access SQLite database file's Application ID in vb6 using VBRC6?

Do you know where this 4 byte ID is stored in the SQLite DB file?
Maybe you can "patch" those 4 bytes when the file is created for the first time?

  8. Re: The best code to colorize black and white photos

There is no reverse routine for color -> black white.
I believe in the past it was done by hand, manually.
For automated routines you need deep learning a huge reference library

You need to use unicode controls.

I guess the DLL contains much more functionality then you can see from the file name.
Why donít you include the complete RC6 setup?

  16. Re: Change text color with SetTextColor but without TextOut or DrawText.

Better do some reading about color indexed bitmaps first:

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indexed_color
  17. Re: Change text color with SetTextColor but without TextOut or DrawText.

At the end it's just pixels with a color on a canvas.
Unless you keep everything in it's own layer and when it's only "flattened" when drawn to the canvas, you have to recreate to image from scratch
  18. Re: Change text color with SetTextColor but without TextOut or DrawText.

I don't think so, because the text is drawn/painted on a canvas.
The text has become pixels on the screen.

  29. Re: Can VB simulate the struct of C language?

    Good luck!
  30. Re: Can VB simulate the struct of C language?

Just keep the C code and compile them in functional DLLs
Why bother to translate the code to VB6?

You use SQLite, Cairo then why is it more valuable if the C source is ported to VB?
  31. Re: Can VB simulate all pointer operations in C language?

What's the background for this question?

To write C programs using the VB IDE?
  32. Re: Can VB simulate the struct of C language?

    User Defined Types?
But you can't have bit types in it.
