  1. Re: VBFlexGrid Control (Replacement of the MSFlexGrid control)

    Update released.

Minor bugfix for the ShowLabelTips property. The cell text was considered falsely as "folded" in case the cell rect was partially clipped by the border of the client rect.
    That...
  2. Re: VBFlexGrid Control (Replacement of the MSFlexGrid control)

Included Delete method. Also Cut/Paste/Delete method will scroll to the current cell, if necessary. (CellEnsureVisible)

    Included AutoClipboard property.
  3. Re: VBFlexGrid Control (Replacement of the MSFlexGrid control)

    Update released.

    Included the ClipSeparatorCol/ClipSeparatorRow run-time property.
These properties expose the default separators vbTab and vbCr. Thus the defaults can be changed.
    Also, it...
  4. Re: VBFlexGrid Control (Replacement of the MSFlexGrid control)

    Update released.

Included the Copy/Cut/Paste/Delete method. This is just a simple wrapper to put .Clip property to the clipboard or set the .Clip property from the clipboard.

    Also included the...
  5. Re: VBFlexGrid Control (Replacement of the MSFlexGrid control)

Yes, grid.Row is the current focused cell. If you click the combo cue, the focus doesn't change. So, you might use the grid.EditRow function.
The ValidateEdit event is fired only when the text has...
  6. Re: VBFlexGrid Control (Replacement of the MSFlexGrid control)

It can be dynamic or persistent. Both ways are possible.
    ComboCue/ComboCueRow/Col are dynamic.
CellComboCue is persistent. Best way to FillStyle that for whole Column via .Cell property (virtual...

Re: CommonControls (Replacement of the MS common controls)

You can't apply unicode literals in the VB6 IDE. You need to use ChrW() for each character and append them together.
I suggest you could use it for VB.TextBox because maybe your machine is in DBCS...

New idea, having just a new "InitButtonMenu" with ByVal hMenu As Long and a ByRef Handled As Boolean.
If you change Handled to True the ToolBar control will not go further (TrackPopupMenu)...

Re: CommonControls (Replacement of the MS common controls)

Ok. But then there is a problem of the ButtonMenuClick. Currently it fires if wID is > 0 and passed that n-th wID to a ButtonMenu object.
We would need to cap that, so that ButtonMenuClick only...

Re: CommonControls (Replacement of the MS common controls)

Good point. The hMenu is created on demand and not persistent.
So, a solution could be that whenever the popup menu is created a new "InitButtonMenu" event is fired with a TbrButton object and a...

    No.

Btw(!), just noticed that DrawState API in the StatusBar crashes when the StrPtr() of the Text property is 0. I guess that's due to a recent MS update..
Will make a fix for that soon....

  18. Re: VBFlexGrid Control (Replacement of the MSFlexGrid control)

Bugfix for FlexFocusRectFlat. The pen style uses now a NULL_BRUSH to not affect custom background color/picture.
  19. Re: Is there a change event in Flexgrid?

I see you have VBFlexGrid1, so it must be that control.

Well, you don't have to loop and re-calculate everything. Just calculate the row that was altered.
