Having read all posts in this thread for the first time, I conclude that it must be some strange mind perversion thing.

Explaination of "ciao K. Bring some sunshine with you morrow" is that Katie was feeling down for whatever reason, and was leaving, so to make sure she is more cheered tomorrow, I said bring some sunshine (which most people associate with being cheered up", happy rays whatever).

Whatever connotation you've thought of is beyond me so I'm going to leave it like that.

We are finally getting our vb.net beta 1 cd from Microsoft, after much whinging ang gnashing of teeth, is it true you still have to download the whole MS site even if you install from CD.

Last night went to a vb.net seminar. And the guy was explaining how the new ado could do all the things that other data connections could, he then couldn't demonstrate any of them. :D Love it when those guys fall on their ass.

I've had VS.Net b1 for a while now, and I didn't download anything :) 4 CDs of pure buggy code -- nice :D

Aha Parksie destroys another urban myth. Can't wait to spend days and nights trying to get the thing to load. If it's anything like the first beta of Office 2000, the number of bugs in it will be awesome. Maybe l should get a job at MS, could help them out by introducing some more.
