Love is when you want to be with somebody, regardless of their appearance, wealth, etc. It's also when two people care for each other so much they are willing to die for each other........ On top of all that, swollowing is there too :rolleyes:

When my grandmother got arthritis, she couldn't bend over and paint her toenails anymore. So my grandfather does it for her all the time, even when his hands got arthritis too. That's love.

But surely thats what this thread is about and we've nailed it. Because you do not find it too your taste;) does not make it any less of a valid point.
For instance:
Say a man regularly beats his wife up, and she stays with him (not through fear, but because she loves him). Isn't that one of the ultimate expressions of love, yet it is not very palatable.
A heroin junky loves Heroin. He'll do anything for it.
A stalker "loves" the woman he rapes and kills, because he is so obsessed with her he can't let her be with anyone else.
All are definitions of love, where do you draw the line.

- We are having the wedding in her church. I'm agnostic so to me, the ceremony doesn't mean much. What does mean a lot to me is the legal paper work which is done in a back room after the ceremony as we walk out, and the fact that we are doing this in front of everyone we know. But hey, I just bought a georgous $7K ring. I'm already doing all of this infront of everybody. The ceremony is just an excuse to party.
- Planning for the wedding just causes arguements, so I'm not saying anything else. This is no longer 'our' wedding, but hers. I'm sure that it is always that way, but boy howdy, what a let down. They only day that I get to do anything important, and I don't share the stage, I'm just a prop on her stage.
- We will live in Durham. I hate Durham, it is at least 45 minutes from my friends and it is Durham, the 'hood of the Triangle. Honestly, this isn't that big a loss, since I spend my week on the road it is more important to be nearer her job.
- She wants to put the microwave next to the stove, eating up one of the few counter spaces in the kitchen. There is a huge strip of negative space next to the fridge that we can't reach to use for food prep, but it will hold a microwave just fine.
- She won't clean the litter box.
I love her so much that I help her with her attempts to loose weight, and I'm keeping quiet with the fact that it isn't going to accomplish anything. But at least we get to spend time together. Now that the weather is nice, I want to learn how to skate, and we are wanting to get some bicycles.
