Wow - I would be nervous - It's cool , though.
Congratulations!
Whatever happened to JPRoy32 (I think that was his name)? He gets married the day before me. I haven't heard from him in a long time.
Where in SD are you getting married?
Brookings
Oh, wow... You only live about 4 -5 hours away from me.
I actually have a cousin that lives in Minneapolis. He is a networker.
But im Mr F@*ked up, how and I suppoesed to remeber!! :D
Well good luck!!
I love Minneapolis - My parents and grandparents live
in South Dakota. I go back usually a few times a year
to visit.
Well, SMH, It's a good thing you're getting married in
Brookings and not the Corn Palace in Mitchell! ha-ha!
Mitchell is going to flood as soon as this snow melts, so it's a very good thing. Where do your parents and grandparents live at?
My grandparents live in Claire City, population 83 - It's inbetween Rosholt and Veblen.
My parents live in Lake City - It's inbetween Sisseton and Britton.
wow, you guys live pretty near to me too. I live in Moorhead, MN. My brother lives in Minneapolis.
Fargo/Moorhead - very cool.
I've never heard of any of these places
Still, good luck Shanea! Don't get too stressed! :)
Stress sucks!
I tell you what....if I could start this all over, I would have paid the $2000 to have someone plan this stupid thing for me.
So Parksie,
Where is your lunatic asylum located?
Malvern, England :)
Very good - Is that near London?
Why u want to join the Asylum or what ?
Actually Active, I think I"m already there. ;)

Congratulations Shanea....33 days and still somewhat sane! A great achievement indeed!
As opposed to the guy she is getting hitched too. Who is probably really regretting it after meeting his mother in law and Shanea's five Irish Wolf Hounds, and her collection of "Neighbours" cds and her Brian Adams CD collection and..........................sorry that was some one else:eek:Quote:

Anyway good luck to Shanea.......Iain will be there to catch the flowers.
1. I didn't pull him in off the street. We met at work.
2. He's giving me the nasty mother-in-law.
3. I have no dogs, just 2 cats.
4. I would much rather listen to AC/DC.
5. Iain will be there for the drinks, not the flowers!
He He ;)
Oh, yeah, and Katie.....who said I was still sain? :)
You can still count.....at least that's a sign of a little sanity left!
Counting is about the most complex function I can do anymore though!
I can't count anymore...pure 4 has destroyed my so-called mind
How can she be sane when she can't even spell it? :DQuote:

He He ;)
2. That's just plain scary
3. I hate cats, they decimate the local wild life
4. Mate!!!!! Good Oz Band.
5. Have plenty of sherry ready then.
Still wishing you luck, on weather, drunk relatives etc.
Actually .... Mike was a cook and I was a waitress. They made me quit when we started dating, because you weren't allowed to date co-workers! (Mike had been there longer than me, and I was already working another job anyway.)
They cannot enforce that sort of thing in Oz as it's viewed as an invasion of personal freedom.
Ok to more important matters have you done the traditional pre-wedding lingerie shopping yet. Will expect a full photo shoot to be publish on the web so that we can review your selections
This is a Public Service being offered by the guys on this site.
All most forgot....did you make a honeymoon destinction yet...you were asking.
Jethro....you are something else...
He He ;)
I have done my shopping, but no one gets to see the goods. I will post pictures of the wedding after they are developed though (And only of the wedding. :) )
We have actually decide to postpone the honeymoon. After rolling the car, we have a few bills to take care of first.
Bad luck on the car, hope no one was injuried in that one.
Also hope you weren't driving...else image the jokes your husband will be able to come up with.
Jethro,
Take a look here, and you'll see the car and all....
http://forums.vb-world.net/showthrea...threadid=57585
And, yes, I was driving...
Lucky the propane leak wasn't at the same time...
Cheers,
P.
Naww... We rolled a good 30 miles from where the propane leak was. :)
The way you rolled I reckon the sparks could have reached
Cheers,
P.
Yeah....guess you're right....but we had 4 ft snow drifts at the time. We are almost down to 1 1/2 ft drifts now and it's supposed to be 50 degrees on Saturday! The snow won't last much longer!
You're meant to drive round the snow drifts
50 degrees is still pretty cold. How long does your snow normally last.
Cheers,
P.
It's usually gone 2 weeks ago, but we had a bad winter this year, so it's still hanging around. One more week or two depending on weather, and it should be gone. It will be gone for sure before my wedding.
The statement...."If you get pissed at the pub drive home really fast to avoid the cops"....is a joke.
For a minute l thought that was going to be the wedding car. I was then going to enquiry whether or not you had imported it from Cuba.
Could l suggest a Volvo...it's a Swedish car Dennis not what you are thinking....for future driving in the snow.
The problem was ice, not snow.
