Bad day at the office?
29 is old, despite what others your age may insist.
29?
Darn youngsters!!
(I'm 33 :( )
When all of you multiply your existing age by 2 come talk to me.
Lol.....I could be your father.
I just (March 23) turned 27. With 40 being the new 30*, I don't think 29 is old. But, you're only "old" if you've settled for something you don't love. And the good news is you can always "quit your job" and start over.
Hell, at least wait until 30...
* - That's what "they" say.
Hey, you guys could all be rock/pop stars and have a mid-life crisis at age 25... o_0
I turn 26 in 5.5 weeks, so I'm a youngin
Ha!
The fact that you're 25 and have 300+ rep while I have only 40+ rep makes me feel sad.
I'm obsessed with ages. My one consolation is that Alexander the Great didn't get his start until seeing a bust of Julius Caesar at 32. Taking into consideration life expectancy at that time, 80 is the new 30. We've all got plenty of time!
29? Old?! OLD?!!!! Why, I... if.. what... when... splutter... grrr. I'm 38 and still young damnit, no matter what my work colleagues might say.
Mind you, I plan to go out to a rock night club this evening where I will almost certainly jump in the moshpit, headbang recklessly, get drunk and probably snog some 20 year old before the night's done so, if I am growing old, I'm doing so disgracefully and that's alright with me.
You have that the wrong way round. Caeser got upset when he saw a statue of Alexander because, by Caesers age, Alexander had already conquered the known world, and much of it that was unknown before he began his campaigns. Actually, the story's probably apocryphal but it's a nice way of expressing just how extraordinary Alexander was and how much he achieved in so short a time (he was dead at 32).Quote:

I'm 21... Oh yeah...
24 here, but I definitely don't feel old. I'll wait until I have a little rugrat running around to make me feel old.
Mosh pit? Aren't the 80s over?
What next? Are kids dancing the Charleston again too?
Not for me. I kinda got stuck there and never moved on:rolleyes:Quote:

Uh, no. You sir, are an idiot......wait, quick wikipedia check confirms what you just stated. OK, so, wow, I guess I had that backwards. Damn university History requirement! However, the idea stands. Plus, Alexander The Great conquered his known world quite quickly. So, I think I feel worse than I did before...
Yeah, you're old, dude.
I'm so old, I can't tell you it as most of you have 32 bit systems.
I'll be 29 in May.
At what age are we to be considered "grown up". I've got this lego project that still needs finishing. ;)
Children please stop complaining about being old
I feel 19 at 29.
You're only as old as you feel.
I'll be 35 in a month, so that makes me the grandaddy of this unruly mob! :D
I'm only 42, but I don't feel a day over 39.
I'm still under the millenium mark so I feel young.
24 today! woop!
Nonsense! :) it depends on the available time you have to answer on the forum and the probability that you WILL get rep for your answers, not everybody takes time to do so, and since when you are on the forum. I don't think age is important in that case.

I'm 26, which I think is still considered young even if I know ppl that thinks its old but I think you only get old when you start thinking you are.
I must be old my 14 year old daughter says I'm ancient
I feel old because I used to program in a very old programming language called VB6 :D
Really? THAT is your criteria? What if I mentioned I've worked with VB4.... and before that VB3? Heck, I remember there was a time BEFORE VB... back then it was just B. :P
I cut my teeth on Apple BASIC, before moving on to PC & GW BASIC... then came Pascal, Assembler, then I started tinkering with dBase II ... eventually I learned C, then in the Air Force I was exposed to Ada, more Assembler, and even COBOL.

I started with QBasic and GW-Basic. There was a time, when we had to queue up for a computer, since each of us could not have a separate computer in school.
You got only 10 minutes and in that 10 minutes you had to finish writing your code.
640k (Bill Gates said it himself, that's more than anyone will ever need) and x8086... 4.77MHz

I'm 31 currently and feel 61 - I suppose it depends on what work you do and how much stress you have!!! BTW, I'm almost complety grey, luckily not bald :D The greyness is in the genes. I am dead serious!
Being grey and so "young" isn't good especially when people 2 years younger than you calls you "UNCLE"!!
Yip, my hair.
Sleeping, hmm, I think I last slept back in December LOL!
