I don't see no poll... :afrog:
Then you've obviously not had enough.
But it seems you have...
Although, i do prefer bacardi, i likes me some rum....
i prefer whisky to vodka.
when you wake up in the hospital, you know you've had too much...
I woke up in a mortuary. That was awesome.
"You're not drunk if you can lie on the floor without holding on"
James Dean.
Since I don't drink the last makes perfect sense to me.
Only fools use holidays as an excuse to drink heavily.
People don't ever mature. You all disgust me.
eww alcohol, nasty. The world should fallow after AR, GM, and I and live an alcohol free life style :)
Funny that coming from someone who isn't the legal age to drink. Belive me that attitude will change by the time 21 comes around.....
That proves it.... I have been drunk before.... so much so, I forcibly changed the rotation of the earth to coincide with the orientation of how I was laying on the floor.Quote:

"When i read about the evils of drinking, i gave up reading"
it's because your Irish (not trying to be prejudice).
I went to the local street fair this weekend, and on Irish Street, IT WAS PACKED! because thats where all the beer was. lol
I can't argue with that
700 cl and a roller coaster ride to splash mountain is already too much for one day.
:thumb:
Rrrrrrrr... Ay feel like gulping some rum down me throat.
You can't drink yourself?Quote:

No, but it certainly helps sometimes!

He's 15. In the states, you have to be 21 to *legally* drink. I've met very few people who actually waited... it's not difficult to get around. I was drunk off my arse this past new years eve, and I was 19. Had a fun little party at college more than a year before that... it's america. Land of the free, home of the brave, but everybody's too busy drinking to care.Quote:

If I could, I would ban all drugs, cigs, and alcohol. Punishment for violation would be execution. No questions asked, no excuses. You drink, you die. You smoke pot, you die.
Ever try playing poker against a drunk guy? Easy money.
Ever try playing pool against a drunk guy? Easier money.
You clearly haven't hung around funny drunks.
I don't hang around drunks in real life. On forums, they are all around as I can see.
so true. i was at the street fair this weekend, and i saw my friend, 15 as well, and he was wasted. He was trying to get a ride home with me... but i told him no because he was so drunk. Today he saw me, and really didnt remeber asking me for a ride.Quote:

Oh please, I'm sure the view's fantastic from up there, but do get off your high horse.Quote:

People that make bad drunks are usually idiots when they are sober anyway.
Been here almost 2 years and this is quite literaly the second time me and Pen agree on something.

I also smoke (see custom note above avatar). I don't smoke in public places, I don't smoke around a group of non-smokers and as a general rule... I throw out any cigarette or refuse to light up if children <14 are in visible range.
I also enjoy my fair share of psychotropic ethnobotanicals. None of which you have heard of... Until they are featured on cnn/fox with the headline "your child's new high" and become illegal. So until you post about one of them with the fear mainstream media shells you - I won't defend my stance on that too hard.
According to your position, I should be executed - without question. Let me give you a little more detail about me.
I have a very good job, I make it to work on time, give all I can and have very few sick days. I love my coworkers and just last weekend, I helped one of them move. A month ago, one of them had a baby (his baby girl is beautiful by the way). Everyday, we talk about her over coffee; about how she can finally support her own head and has started "cooing." I highly doubt I'm as stricken as he is seeing this first hand, but we both revel in the simplicity of life and the years we personally have spent complicating it.
My younger brother's birthday is next weekend. I haven't seen him in 3 months because he's been in college and working. Very few days go by that I don't pray for him and his well-being. I make it a point to keep them realistic and end them with "and please - shelter him, for I've seen the troubles that lie ahead."
Your rite. Sry.Quote:

I just dont like it when i am having a great time somewhere with my friends, and then someone walks by us puffing on a cigg, then we get the second hand smoke. People need to know where it is allowed, and where they should not do it. sevenhalo obviously knows when he should and shouldn't smoke, and i must give you props :)
I cannot say that people who smoke/drink are bad people. Alot of my adult friends drink, and that doesn't make them bad, i still respect them the same :)
Sorry, but why should I let you prevent me from drinking or smoking?
I do agree that, as with nearly any activity, there are places or situations where drinking or smoking can be inappropriate, and I think it is good to see that there have been a few laws in various countries/states enacted in recent years to enforce smoke-free areas.
However, I get the impression, from you (although I'm glad you don't do either activity at your age) and Arrow_Raider, that because you do not drink or smoke you have some kind of right to go on a moral crusade against those who choose to do so. I'm afraid this is simply not so.
Respect the rights of people to do things that they choose, as long as they do not harm others.
Are you serious? :ehh:Quote:

I agree with ArrowRaider.
Come on everybody, put your head into guillotine.exe now. And bring a towel - there will be a lot of binary data gushing out from the neck.
Enough with the long sentences, I'm drunk here.
I started drinking when I was 15 and stopped soon after I turned 21... being able to walk into a liquor store and buy it legally took most of the fun out of it :(
no offense, but that's kind of sad...
drinking for the kick it gives you because you're underage...
what's even more sad; I see lots of people (also around me) doing that.
+1 on that.Quote:

Edit-addons: Whats wrong with drinking a bit now and then? Is life one big boring catholic church?
I cant even count the number of friends ive made whilst being drunk.:afrog:
How much is too much?
It is not enough, that is for sure! :D
Too much is when your pint-to-stall cycle gets synchronized with a total stranger...
Too much is when you try to call home using your credit card as cellphone:lol: ....:(
Too much is when the walls are playing ping pong with you and you're having a blast...
That, my good sir, certainly isnt too much:DQuote:

It's either nasty, or it reminds me of an experiment that went wrong....but that's another story.
All of my friends drink, and I don't really care. They haven't been so irresponsible that they hurt anybody, but they have done plenty of stupid things, and even remember some of them. As far as I can see, there is no reason to drink alcohol when for a much lower price you could eat a chunk of a mushroom and be lit up for twelve hours or so, and will mostly be too paranoid to do any harm. Haven't tried it myself, but alcohol simply isn't cost competitive, so if I wanted to alter my state, I certainly wouldn't waste money on a foul tasting liquid.
It's not all foul-tasting. Beer sucks, I'll agree with that. I haven't had wine recently, so I can't comment there. I'm a fan of various mixed drinks. I have no problem drinking it, because it tastes quite good, but in the end I still wind up loopy. Once you hit a certain stage, taste doesn't even matter anymore...
I didn't drink just because I was underage. We did a few fun times getting our hands on alcohol though. Really, being able to get drunk legally allowed me to make a complete ass of myself in public more than once and it just lost it's appeal. :P
You all drink too much.
You can tell when your wallet feels slightly empty.
Bummer, and here I was thinking I hadn't been drinking at all. What do I have to do now, generate alcohol for others so that I have a negative intake?Quote:
