Fishing!
Seriously, fishing for carp I find does wonders for your patients, take up alot of your time, you get to go outdoors, bargain.
Don't get inolved in games such as World Of Warcraft, you willl have no life.

Vacation. Not one of those regular, pathetic, trite, tourist hot-spots on the beaches of <insert yet-another European city> type location, but a real vacation which ends up with you making efforts rather than being pampered and having your behind kissed every few minutes by someone.
Peru, Cambodia, India, Syria, Egypt... these are my suggestions.
Brazil, I've heard awesome tales.
Organize a group of friends and go play Paint ball.
Learn Linux. (General advice to anybody really...)
It's a challenge and it will give you many extra skills.
Ah paint ball, i got shot in the head at paint ball, that was bearable but then i got shot on the nail of my thumb :thumb:Quote:

Good tips Mendhak but totally skint. Can only just afford a weekend in Butlins with the lads. Was thinking about going to a cooking course, meet new people and all that
Kill hookers. It's fun and free!
:afrog:
Hmm, I'm out of it as well.
I'm not even remotely inspired to start any artwork.
I'm stumped.
My eyes are tired, so I can't read just yet, as well as draw and stuff since imagination is pretty dull right now. I should go out and watch some sakura just outside this window.
I was waiting for my second train just beyond the yellow line, and as the train was approaching, a thought came to me. Like, how easy it is for someone to die by just jumping onto the tracks of an incoming train and wondered if anybody had ever done that.
Learn to cook, that will pull in the women

I find gaming to a good relaxer/stress reliever. But you have to choose the right game, like i'll play GTA or COD. Games that aren't really involved, just good for blowin sh** up :D
Try photography, select a subject, for example : sports, Nature, Landscape,
Portrait, Astral Photography, Macro photography (small stuff).
Alternatively look for an unusal hobby, like bell ringing, caving, lobbing paint
filled ballons at canvases or politicians, carving welsh poems on the heads of
a pin.
:afrog:
haha. Will think about it. I'm liking the idea of learning how to cook good quality food. It'll be a good place to meet people and something I can practice at home.
Hmmm, might just have a look around to see about prices and such
Cheers ppl :thumb:
I've started researching books on happiness and healthy living, so far I've only come across a few books that seem interesting. There are quite a few written by the Dali Lama that seem to hit what i'm looking for though i'm not really interested in Buddhism.
Although cooking does sound like a interesting idea. I'm sure there are quite a few females that are interested in cooking, unlike computers it seems. And maybe i can get away from the microwave i've become so dependent on.
Starcraft.

okay, I thought there would be some courses around the capitol city but I can't find any!?! Those cooking holidays are in excess of £1500!
Maybe I should just go back to martial arts and risk my knees being able to handle it?
College?
Nope, all the cooking courses are for professional cooking. All I wanted to learn was the basic skills
Take up Urban Running it's totally free.
Not fit enough
Base jumping (save money by using Tesco Value bag instead of parachute)
haha, don't think I'd last long after the initial jump
abour 5.3 seconds is my guess :P
Yes, nothing better than killing terrorists to cure stress.Quote:

Ok, so I did say I needed a new inspiration.
So Here I am, with 2 weetabix biscuits for breakfast... pairing it off with Strawberry milk ole.
I love the strawberry milk as it is. I love the weetabix as it is with pure milk.
Now, I tried a new pair... I don't think i'm ever trying this again. :S
It's too strongly strawberry flavored, which i don't mind in japan. But my tastes buds prefer the usual bland, milk, honey and weetabix. So much for trying something new.
I'm having strawberry flavoured tea, exciting isn't it?
I had green tea. I finished it in less than a minute. It is exciting.

Well at the moment I'm nearing the end of my Masters in Professional Development but after that I'm tempted to do:
A Swedish Massage course :D
You should try rock-climbing. Its a lot of fun and very safe. You can get to meet a lot of people also.
do anything but say to yourself you're going to give it your absolute best. make it your new obsession.
That what I've always wanted to do.
next week next week :p
"Welsh Massage" is cited in Dante's Inferno as the fate reserved for those who betray their country in times of need.Quote:

So what did you do?
I feel abit similar so was thinking of something like this
http://www.takeahike.org.uk/ or preferably http://www.spiceyorks.com/
anyone done similar? I think they are nationwide too.
As said before, Warcraft!
If you do, you better hurry. They're raising the level cap again. Don't get left behind.
Mouthwatering http://www.spiceyorks.com/bookit/bki...eventno=112397
Golfing is pretty fun, I took it up a couple years ago. It gives me something to do besides staring at a monitor or a TV. I'm also thinking about joining a gym to boost energy, but I've been saying that for months. I lack the motivation.
sevenhalo: not with the new expansion pack being released. Besides I can't really devote the time (and patience frankly) to getting anywhere on this
wild_bill: play golf as often as I can but the weather hasn't been very cooperative, but am always in the gym but at lunchtime so evenings are still free of things to do!
I'm always in my room staring at house lizards half-hoping one would fall from the ceiling again.
(I got lucky and last weekend one DID fall right in front of me by the door. :afrog:)
I walk down the street hopeing a hot woman will fall in front of me, I live in eternal hope lol
