60, give or take
9+3 = 12x5 = 60 give or take.
How many hours per week am i NOT at work, would be a more suitable quiestion.
Id say about 168 hours.
lets see, add 2, carry the 1, divide 2... 0 hours.
Contractually... 35 hrs
Minus 3 hours per day for the pub... 15 hrs
Minus smoking time per week... 10 hrs
Minus time to do the maths to figure out how many hours I work per week... 10 hrs
Hmm...
Approximately 15.
43 by contract
40 hours working 42 1/2 stuck in this dump (Including lunch break)
40, sometimes a few more.
I work part time for and ISP Company - 15 Hours per week
Theoretically they are paying me for 35 to 37 a week,
unfortunately that figure is after they have deducted an hour for lunch,
and it does not include the commute, which adds roughly an hour to an hour and a half in the morning, and in the evening.
:afrog:
About 380.
Own my own business...
So 11 hours a day is standard - 8:00 am to 7:00 pm.
Tuesday I started at 4:00 am - worked 14+ hours...
Always do development on Saturday/Sunday - customers not calling allows for truly productive r & d time...
42 Hrs Minimum by contract.....
So 38 Hrs Give or take....
40.
Working anything more is truly 'artificial', as productivity for anyone does an abrupt nose-dive after 35 hours.
Szlamany, Seriously, man, take a break
Mind you, I reckon at least a quarter of that time must be spent sorting us lot out in the DB forum.
I'm employed for 37.5 hours a week. I work about half of 'em :)

Man, i didn't think programmers worked such long hours . Although i have heard that if you love doing what you do then time flies, so you don't really notice it.
VB Code:
Private Sub Command1_Click() Dim Total As Single 'lunch + smoke breaks Total = 45 - (5 * 1) - (((10 / 60) * 5) * 5) Debug.Print Total End Sub
35.83333
But im salary! :D
It is INDIA work is important :wave:Quote:

Those deadlines drive the hours - at least in my world.
We spent the past 2 years developing a payroll system - then in the final push of December we worked 60+ hour weeks to make sure that the testing was all done and that we could go live with the January 1st payroll.
I work about 40 seconds. Tough job too.
sorry to burst your bubble... there are only 168 hours in a week.Quote:

W-o-r-k .... let's see..... ok, does that mean the time I'm at work (40-50)? The time my employer pays me for (40)? Does VBF time count? (+20) OR the amount of time I'm actualy productive (15)?

I'm sure they are a truly stellar 15 hours ;)
20 Hours work
16 Lesson time (so technically 21)
40 Hours doing something productive :D
40. Give or take a day.
Work is important for everyone, not just Indians.Quote:

Usually about 60 or so...
But when I go out 3 or 4 times, I tend to be broke the remaining hours.
