Look everyone, I have lots of rep points. And lots of posts. I wish to bring attention to these two attributes of my account, because it lets me validate my existence. Please pay attention to my post count and reps, I will feel much better about myself if you do. I can go on talking about it for pages and pages. I can also talk about your rep points and post count. Everytime you pay attention to my post count and reps, I rub a kitten against a television. Thanks. :wave:

I don't find the 'reputation' idea very good.

Sometimes I solve a problem staying awake all night, but the thread starter doesn't care to post a reply or give a reputation.
On the other hand, sometimes I just post a 'try this' suggesitions and get 3-4 reps for that !

For me, the satisfaction I get by solving a problem and the friendship of forum members, that counts most. :)

Reppers work in mysterious ways.

At this point, one of us must really highlight our achievements to show the incredible phenomenon of replies-in-a-row, such as this case here.

If this is resolved, please pull down the Thread Tools menu and click the Mark Thread Resolved button. That will let everyone know that you have your answer.

Another way of increasing post count is

Can you post the code
You are not being clear enough
I can't see any problem
Could you post the error message you are getting
etc etc etc... :D

None of those above statements can actually increase your post count. Posting in non-chit chat forums is the tried and tested method of increasing ones post count :)
