Monty Python of course.
On a more serious note though, for me, I would want to get my name out there, to become as famous and well-known as possible so that when I died, I wouldn't simply be erased without as much as a ripple.
That's funny, that's exactly what Jonothan Horsemuffin said. Who remembers him?
Jonathan Horsemuffin?
No, Jonothan Horsemuffin.
The meaning of life can be found in the number PI. Or any one of the infinite number of transcendental numbers. Or at least that’s what Carl Sagan said.
It should be easy to find with us being programmers and all...
Step 1) Write a program to calculate trillions and trillions of transcendental numbers out to the N trillionth place.
Step 2) Analyze these numbers looking for oddities. The analysis cannot be made in base 10 number only, but should probably be made in every base from 2 to 100. You are looking for something out of the ordinary. A series of 100 zero's for instance.
Step 3) After isolating the strange sequence of digits, decode it looking for yet another pattern. With any luck, the pattern will be in binary and directly converted into ASCII. If that doesn't happen then you should probably write a decryption program that generates an infinite number of decryption algorithms and analyzes the results for possible logical data.
And viola, you have the meaning of life. That is, if you can understand the data you just found... Good luck with that. :)
The meaning of life, can be found in your home.
You forgot about sticking a pen in your temple and translating it to hebrew. :thumb:Quote:

My first real girlfriend played the viola. She was cool. Hmmmm . . . . she really did give me the meaning of life.Quote:

Life is like play dough. Get it in the carpet and you'll never see the last of it.
When you have kids, you'll find the meaning of life. Until then, your opionions mean nothing. Boo ya.
Life is a bowl of cherries. Finally, that quote makes sense!
That is just paternal instinct talking :p - the true meaning of life "have kids, look after, love them".Quote:

Life is just a very creative way of dying slowly.

Life if but a river. It can only flow. Once it hits the ocean a new journey begins and a new river forms to bring you to the next ocean.
Makes sense i hope.
Life is just the short time between birth and death, it has no meaning....
Life is a board game in which you try and attain riches.
I think it has something to do with boobs
There is no meaning to life. As we are in.... The Matrix.
In that case, the meaning of life would be to free our minds and release ourselves from the matrix. Or in the words of that little buddist kid from the matrix "do not attempt to bend the spoon, because that would be impossible. Instead, realize that the spoon does not exist, then move yourself around the spoon." (or something like that).
I would say, accept the reality we are dealt. Even if there was another reality, how do we know that, that is real?
Reality is but a set of rules. And rules are ment to be broken.
So many things conflict with eachother.
We should just accept that Reality is but a contant state of mind. which we all contribute towards. If we want to evolve. We will evolve. And vice versa.
Those to concieve to destroy our reality, or blend it within their twisted reality. Should not be turned away.
Very biological there. You are nothing but the vessel your particular set of genes is using to replicate itself. Therefore, your children ARE the meaning of your life. I have none, thus I have no meaning.Quote:

The simplest explanation is typically the most logical.
We should be content with what we have, but we should never be complacent.
