I don't get why people add system specs to their sigs. Don't you know that only signed in members see it? I'd much rather see nothing than someone's box that was faster (or slower) than minel. Sign in as guest, as see how we look to the real world!

I was never a system spec person until a little while ago. Id much rather put links to things i find interesting or images or whatever. Pretty limited on what you can put in your sig these days.
Signatures are a members unique way of identifing themselves like an avatar. You may not like anyones signature, but that doesnt
mean that everyone will like yours. Its a personal opinion and every member has the option to express themselves as they see fit within
the Forum's AUP.
I dont know how you would feel if someone told you that they didnt like your signature or avatar? Its only normal to feel a bit offended if
something like that was expressed. I'm sure there are some members that dont like mine but I also have my own personal opinion on
theirs too.
You do have the option of not viewing any signatures at all.
Control Panel > Edit Options > Visible Post Elements > and uncheck "Show Signatures" > click "Save Changes".
The real world is out there all around. Not behind a computer 24/7 ;)Quote:
...the real world.
If I had a dollar for each time I had a complaint relayed. I would guess that hundreds of people have PM'd mods suggesting that my FONT was too big or some such like. This time I voluntarily shrunk everything down. Does anyone remember the Rate This Post from about 6 months ago? I was told to reduce the size of it.
Not to raise eyebrows or anything, I thought I'd share my latest concern.
Just letting everyone know that it's for member's eyes only. Whats the point?
Thats a valid point that only members can see sigs, but we do have 52,908 members and allot of active members at that.
Well if you do see a point then you could always remove yours if you feel that strongly about it. :)Quote:

NOT TRUE!!! look at my screen shot (it was not edited beyond croping)Quote:

you could also take a look at one of google's cache if you want better proof without logging out!
Well, when I was not able to log on, I viewed the forums as a guest, and couldn't see anybody's signature. Maybe your cookie logged you on?
But, as long as you post it like that, it is visible TO THE WORLD! w00t
Damn. I just logged out to see, and lo and behold. It's true, something changed but i don't know what it was. Not that it matters, though. Who cares about your box? :)
RUDE :[ BAN HIM

:p
No need to get all touchy about it, just because I have a better sig than yours...Quote:
