Oh yes please...

1001 BHP
8 litre 64 valve 16 cylinder W formation engine (pseudo-radial!)
4 turbos!
Two Hundred And Fifty Miles Per Hour.
0-60 in about 3.6 sec, 0-100 in 6.5!
:eek2: "Clucking bell" springs to mind.
It's a Bugatti Veyron by the way.
Just thought I'd share this with you. :D
Save your pennies up and give Bugatti a call when you've got a spare £850,000.

I couldn't resist digging up the thread which gave birth to my avatar a year later :)
Re: Faster faster, thrash me!
Haha, lol, thought as much :)

Damn, gotta change my underwear again.
Re: Faster faster, thrash me!
I don't like the yellow one, it seems a taxi...
Ionically, Bugatti is now owned by Volks-Wagen... "the car of the people"...!
Have you realized that 1000 HP is three quarters of a MegaWatt?

Re: Faster faster, thrash me!
If they want me to buy one, I would at least have to hear how it sounds, and see how it handles at high speeds. Looks like they were is second gear the whole time (even if it was 80mph :)
Re: Faster faster, thrash me!
1001 HP in fact. The extra 1 makes all the difference.

You're right, 1000 HP = 745699.87 Watts
But 1001 HP = 746445.57 Watts
That's a difference!
Your'e right, 1001 looks magic!
It's amazing how they managed to sqeeze all those horses into a mere 710 mm (27 inches) long, 889 mm (35 inches) wide and 730 mm (28.7 inches) high, and only 8 liters (500 cubic inches).

Re: Faster faster, thrash me!
They're making 500 cubic inch blocks again for street and strip racers
With a blower, easily turn 1000 hp. Now that is a machine
Re: Faster faster, thrash me!
No street racer in the world would be any match for the Veyron. It has 4 blowers already. It hits 60 mph before you finish saying supercalifragilisticexpialido-... see? :D
Street racers don't go around corners, stop with any urgency or look nice. This does all 3 very well.
You turn up to a bugatti meet with a US street fighter and you'd get laughed at.
Re: Faster faster, thrash me!
You could have a different American muscle car for each day of the month for what those things cost. Just the insurance alone would equal the cost of insuring all of the muscle cars. Not to mention what would happen if you wrecked it (or more likely, someone else caused a wreck)

And I got the chance to see that video clip with my broadband :D Nice one.
Re: Faster faster, thrash me!
Zero to 60 in under 4 seconds and no gas!
Re: Faster faster, thrash me!
That's a cool car, but the price is a bit steep.
