A love of flags is part of the problem. sure it is nice to love your country but an excess of patriotism is an inch off fanaticism. Who was it that said "Patriotism is the last refuge of the scoundrel". You will hardly see any flags flying in Australia and not becos ppl dont care but becos we don't feel the need to ram it down each other's throats.
