I think I have a broken throat?

Basically, I've thought my throat had like some piece of food or something stuck in it for the past few days because everytime I swallow I can feel as though something's in the way or something. Not sore or anything, just very apparant something's not right.

Anyway. I was pressing at the side of my neck, just at the base of my adam's apple, and I pressed sideways and something sortof moved.
It felt as though it moved back into place or something, and when I swallow there's no odd feeling anymore.

After a while the feeling comes back, and then I can just push that thing back in and it's fine again.... any thoughts? :D

I've had that before. It IS something stuck in there, but I found that swallowing large chunks of food during meals helps. It goes away after a few days.

seriously though, you might wanna get that looked at :sick:

Does it perhaps move to one side but not the other?
Either way you're a freak that should seek out medical attention with the utmost urgency :thumb:

A noise is never a good sign. Seriously, get it checked out there may be a fracture (yes I know it's not bone but there could still be problems)

You do not need medical attention. You are a freak and need to be in a circus freak show :lol:

Try swallowing (without chewing) a bid peice of bread.

Try washing it down with 12 pints of the black stuff followed by a glass of poteen and im sure you wont feel your throat anymore.

Sounds like some sort of infection.

Might be the top of the oesphagus.

I had that(ate bananas for days to no avail).. so I looked it up in front of a mirror.. with the aid of some flashlight... and i saw SOMEthing was stuck. got some bread knife and pushed it off... and i doubted it would have cleared away with swallowing big chunks of banana...
its cause was eating too much cereal so some corn got stuck :(... pretty painful. :sick:

Go to the doctor - they will send you to the hospital and stick a camera down your throat. ;)

Its worth getting it checked out, because, although rare it can be a symptom of a moreserious problem.

yeah.. well NOT shoved it... I just used it to pust the teeny tiny morsel out.. adn it took the pain away when the morsel was out. :wave:

I was glad i did that.. of course mayhaps could have happened well.. rest assured i'm not clumsy when I'm serious. :) ;)

my teacher at elementary had a tiny fish bone stuck in her throat and she let that be for a couple of days but the that got serious so she had an operation.. a couple of weeks later she came back with a mark at her throat...
