Explosions occurred in sequence.
Vitnes tells that he has seen bodies on the tracks on the underground.
BBC.co.uk is obviously getting a lot of hits slow as hell.
This is scary.
Today is the day after the world finds out that London get the Olympics, and its also the day where all the security in britain is up at Gleneagles for the G8 summit.
Lets just hope that July 7 doesn't end up on the same page in history as September 11.
I guess more stuff would have happend at the same time if that was it. It hasn't been 100s of killed yet. But it is still pretty scary. My GF took the SubWay in Londong less then 2 weeks ago..:(..
I'm scared too...
Are you in London now Mend? Or your father? If he is I would advice you too call him and tell him to get out of public spaces, might not be over yet....
They just said that Blair is going to speak.
The latest:
at least 3 bus explsions
CNN is on the scene live
These stations are confirmed evacuated at the moment:

My dad works near Liverpool. I tried calling but can't get through to any number. I'll keep trying.
Mobile phone service is down, Internet is "troubled"
EDIT: Due to overuse.

The cell phone network in London is jammed at the moment - I just heard it on TV. I am waiting to hear from my brother as he is working there at the moment.
Blair speaking in 45 minutes from Scotland
6 bombs in total.
3 busses? 3 subways?
2 confirmed dead. 90 casualties.
Is this confirmed?
no further details as yet on BBC website
I think it's been taken down on purpose given that mobile phones are probably how the bombs were detonated. Land lines will still work.Quote:

2 deaths confirmed, Al Qaeda suspected.
Weird thing though, there was a car bomb near Ealing (West London) at shortly after midnight last night, apparently its the work of an Irish splinter group. This has not had any airtime as far as I can tell. Anyone heard anything else?
Didn't say anything about that in the news in NOrway at least...
The mobile phone network is working, it's just very very busy. (TV News channels are getting video messages from several witnesses etc.)
Police quotes:

This is horrific,
facts,
7 Blasts, 6 in the subway and 1 on a bus. At the time of writing 9 Confirmed casulties but this is going to obviously rise. You cant get near london. And they are not as of yet ruleing out suicide bombers.
Hope everyone and there familys are ok.
Liam
That probably explains it then.Quote:

A guy at work just came into our office and said that his daughter had been on the tube, riding in the carriage behind the one that exploded. She rang her boyfriend and he had just got off a bus that shared the same route with one that blew up later on!
Doesn't get much closer than that. Luckiest people in the world. Neither were hurt.
What is lucky is that with 7 separate explosions only 2 people have died.
Isn't the number 2 only for the first explosion? Don't think they have anounced anything from the buss or the other sites yet.
And they are saying that people are still stuck in the tunnels.
