OK, now it's time to talk about your favourite beverages from around the world. They must be alcoholic I'm afraid (sorry to all the tee-totallers and those excluded on religous grounds).

Not overly fond of "old speckled hen" but I'll stick it on the lest anyway (just for you). Don't know where Moorland brewery is though, I'm afraid.

When I was in Denmark I had some totally bizarre liquid that tasted like Liquorice. I think it was black as well. It was served in a small glass.

My memory grows blunt with time (and alcohol abuse), but I think it was called Smau Gro (the spelling's phonetic as I never read it's name - I only heard it and that was years ago).

Come on you Danes, help me out here I'm starting to look like a fool.....

Wine and food mate - I'm a big wine fan (my mum works in the wine industry), and have an infant wine collection, which was depeleted by about 15 bottles over the weekend, as my parent came over to see me...

There are some really cracking dry Reislings out at the moment, esp from NZ and Aussie - they taste loverly...

chillian Carbernet Sauvignon for me, Imo alot better than what the french is outputting :)

Spirits

Sake - Japan
Always nice especially warm when you have a cold.. Or when you're chowing down to some okinomiyaki :D

Larger

Jenlain - France

I think you're a little confused. "Hicks" is a great beer made by St. Austell brewery. As for "Wreckers", I've never seen it as a hand pulled beer although I once had it on draught somewhere.

Yeah, I am confused :p Wreckers came from the same brewery as Hicks I think, I'm going back 10 years though. I was a lovely dark pint, about 5.2% I think.

Jaagermeister is a totally bizarre liquid that tastes like liquorice.
I'm not sure if there is a name for the liquer, and Jaagermeister is the
brand or what, but ya, that stuff is good now and again.

As far as I"m concerned once we hit guinness we should have stopped
talking. :) good stuff that is.

Well, it's on the list! :)

GoldenDraak is of note esp as its 10% - lovely beer.

I also like Bacardi's Dark Rum, if you're still open for suggestions!

Oh, and Bailey's Irish Creme is lovely too!
