Yeah, I know matey. The word "swastika" comes from the Sanskrit svastika - "su" meaning "good," "asti" meaning "to be," and "ka" as a suffix. :)Quote:

I got a secret stash of crumpets.
If you make me 2 you can have 2
It's nice living on the seaside though, plus you can always go on school trips to Battle and write down boring facts about William the Conquerer (or Bastard - as he was affectionatly known, true story :)). :D . Or visit Rye and look around tourist shops :)Quote:

But Brum is fun for things like cinema, theatre, shopping, clubs, pubs, cost of living etc... :)
It's a bit scarey when you first arrive on the train though.. just how much concrete can you squash into such a small space?
It's a really ugly city :( but with lots to do.
The problem I face, is that I do love the south. been down here all my life, love the coutryside and such, the close proximity to london and my whole life at the moment is down here. but if I can't find anything around here or London, then I'm gonna have to move else where. well if I get the job in brum, I can then start stalking you properly  ;) :D
btw, I'm impressed with you're knowledge of the area. Battle and rye are indeed very nice places. fooking expensive to live in though.
and Ministry Of Sound is great.Quote:

Been to Rye & Battle a few times, v nice. I really like the south too, lived in Lewes/Hove/Falmer/Brighton for 4 years. V depressing when I first moved up to Brum, I felt a bit far away from home :( but made good friends here now :)
yep, it is st leaonards on sea. :) you're saying about teh feeling far away from home, that is the bit that is making me think about the whole moving thing. I'm sure that once I get through the initial period if I did do it, I would be fine. still think it's quite a big leap to make.
One small step for man, one giant leak for Wales :DQuote:
