We work in quids mate :p
Unfortunately, Tom was off work for the summer (he's a teacher) and we talked about me picking up the insurance but decided "What the hell it's only two months. What are the chances of something happening during such a short time?"
So..long story short. We had no insurance and are 100% responsible for the full amount.:( :(
btw...we haven't recieved the bill for the surgeons who did the angioplasties yet. Two surgeries, two surgeons each........I hate to think what that bill will amount too.:(
CRAP!!!
Somit bad would have to happen wouldnt it :(
christ, That is damn bad luck Katie, sorry to hear that. do they allow repayments in installments, or do they expect the bulk sum ?
um... isn't this a scientifical law:
Anything that can go wrong will go wront, especially w/o health insurance
hmm, if I got hit with a £60,000 bill, I would actually have to kill myself...or go down for bank robberies.
um... lets hope she goes for the second, just don't get caught :DQuote:

thank ***** for the NHS...
The hospital is being great about the whole thing. We filled out a financial statement and they are going to decide how much we can afford to pay per month. I'm not sure whether the doctors will let us do the same.
