btw...congrats on your day and your exam scores!
Yep - nice one :)
nice what??
Sorry...English expression... :(
"Nice one" means congratulations on something, so...:
A: I just passed my driving test!
B: Nice one!
...and so on
pardon my ignorance..I've got medicine head today!
:( Get well soon, then. That goes for Katie and anyone else who's ill and wants some of my excess sympathy :D
My avatar's cheesy smile really suits some of my past posts... ;)
Thanks, Parksie......I think I'm just in shock from the glorious inauguration extravaganza this weekend
Hmmm.......definitely :D
So...I see you're another of those being coy about their age :) I won't ask then... ;)
Does anyone have a tranquilizer to put me out of my misery? I think I have tried everthing on the drugstore shelf to get rid of this cold, but it still hangs on. Uuuugh!
Misery loves company.....at least I'm not the only one!
If it's blocked sinuses, try a curry. Also anything with phenylephrine hydrochloride is pretty good.
There's no such thing as curry around here....I've looked. I'd love to try it though.....someday!
btw...I'm 41
I just found something out. I chew sugarless gum, because it is better for my teeth. Well, this sugarless gum could be killing me. I read the following statement on my gum package:
"Use of this product may be hazardous to your health. This product contains saccharine which has been determined to cause cancer in laboratory animals."
HELLO!!!!
How many people actually read the ingredients of gum? (This is where this message is displayed.) I never did before. I am just in such a medicine drugged up state right now that reading a gum package is about all I am capable of.
Wouldn't you think that they would pull this gum off of the market if they know it could be causing us cancer? (By the way...the cinnamon flavor is the only one with saccharine with the brand I am talking about.)
You shouldn't worry too much, they fed those rats more saccharin in a week, than an average person would consume in their entire life.
I chew over an 18 pack of gum a day. Chewing gum helped me quit smoking 2 years ago. Except for when I am sleeping, I constantly have a piece of gum in my mouth.
Damn thats a lot of gum!!!!!!!
I hope you're talking about the 5 stick packs.
...and it always is cinnamon flavored.
No, I have at least a whole pack of gum which contains 18 pieces a day.
Do they have a support group for people who are addicted to chewing gum?
Oh, I thought you said 18 packs of gum a day, not an 18 pack... :o
Not quite that much...I have not converted from the cinnamon flavor to the original flavor.
Evevning all. I'm on an unusual evening session at home
How goes it?
Not too bad apart from my 2 hour journey home took 2hrs 40 as my train was late. Aprt from that fine. It's just gone 10 over here so i'll be turning in soon. almost finished for the day ?
Two and one half more hours to go...sorry your train ride was a bummer.
I'm going home now. See all of you later.
bye Shanea! Hope you feel better
:D It's something you get use to. asking for one week of travel on the uk rail-network, problem free, is like going up to Bill gates and asking if he could lower the
prices and not monopalise everything, or Not going to happen!!
At least you seem to be taking it well...
I'm english, so I actually enjoy having something to grumble about. :).
Right i've got to get up and go to work in 7 hours, so I better get some some sleep :o. talk to you tommorow
