do any of u know how to get an ip from a chat thing? like from aim or bnet. w/o sending them a file. it would help. o yea and on bnet tell me whats the users screen name is. and could u tell me in DOS. but if u only know it in vb or c++ its ok, i can do any of them.
Go to the DOS prompt, then type
netstat -n
all the current connections to your computer will be shown...
I am not sure if AIM establishes a direct connection with the other chatter or not... I know ICQ does...
i used to use netstat -a
this one is confusing but fast. im connected to 26 computers, i only have aim, vbworld, and amazon on. i guess its all from msn and spam. well thx, ill try to figer out how to find out what ip goes with who.

im makeing a program that uses alot of graphics, and its gona look really cool. i started to do that graphics and i relized one thing I SUCK AT DOING GRAPHICS!!! im too broke to higher someone, so since my mom is home and she is a really good graphic artist, she did all the graphics on http://www.haroldlehman.com fixing, putting 5 pics into one jpg, ext. so im gona ask her to do it.

THEN ALL THE TEACHERS MAKE ME FIX IT!!! but i guess thats ok, guess i get an A for fixing something easy. i wish i could just go on the computer at school. o yea i only sometimes do this, when theirs someone who knows nothing about computers, load a file threw the floppy, then take the floppy out, and now save the file, or if ur on 98 (maybe ME 95)(doent work on NT 2000) goto start run and type /con/con eather one gives the computer the blue screen of death, they get all freacked out and beg for ur help. its so funny!

Still haven't had anytime to play around with things like that yet. Work takes up all of my day and in the evening I don't really want to touch these blasted things, I don't think I've booted up my home computer in about 2 months

I think VB7 is a great improvement over 6.. I still like C++ better though..
none of it is visual yet, you have to compile from the command line(this includes C#, VB, and VC++)
Command line compiling. that's bringing back my fond memories of c++ v3 and asembly that I used to code and the first two languages I learn't.

No, I wasn't pulling your leg. We do not have file creation rights... So I can't save anything to C: - its an NTFS partition so the security rights can be pretty closely controlled. We do have right access to the network, but you don't always want to run things off the network.

Dennis, what are you talking about. It's all visual (only the original sdk about 6 months ago was command line and notepad), and you can compile vb, c# and c++ from the ide.

no im not on speed, i just get alot of energy at night. i get more engergy at night then in the day.
i feel bad for all u ppl who have mid terms. i just had an ss test on after the american rev. te he i only studied for a 1/2 hour. i think i got them all right but one. i guess its cause i get y they did everything, and i know alot bout the gov. that was the only test i had today. but on wed i had a test on cell reproduction, i studied alot more for that. GOOD THING I DONT HAVE TO TAKE MID-TERMS!!! i wish good luck to all who have them.
o yea in the moring me and my friend were talking and walking to r next class, then some jack ass put a popical stick w/ a sharp staple in it, and then flicked it into my friends neck. it went into his neck and he got pissed cause he also had a stiff neck, now hes a really good wresler. so he kick him so hard in the gut. we told on the kid and he go into troubler, but he just got talked to, cause that 0 toleren is really a bunch of bull, they just talk to u and nothing else.
then i got a bloody nose cause i had to play basket ball or i would fale gym. i got hit in the face w/ a basket ball.
ok the way i do c++ is the hard old way, but its the best. i dont use vc++. i use the win32 console app. this can be used on ANY OS!!! if ur using files then for each os ull have to can the code around alittle. i put in all the graphics. i dont use anything that microsoft gives u. so it can be used on any os. that how ppl used to do it, i think its better.
