That song rocksQuote:
Kill, eat, exploit the weak
It does indeed.
Death metal...Well...sometimes...I'm not a tremendous fan.
I do have Serpents of the Light by Deicide on a CD somewhere though. Thats cool.
Have you heard any "At The Gates". They're Death/Black Metal (or at least they were). They rock like a bastard too.
Bought the new Tool album Lateralus today :)
Not had chance to listen to it yet :(
Haven't heard At The Gates, I'll try and check them out if I can find anything anywhere.
I have Lateralus on order too =) Should arrive in a day or two along with some other stuff.
Heard anything from the New Fear Factory album, Digimortal? I haven't, but ordered that too so I'll know what it's like soon enough.
Bought Aenima today too. Realised the bastards had given me a smashed up case...:(
Yeah. Bought it a couple of weeks ago. To be honest I was a little dissapointed. I bought the digipack with the extra tracks. Its not a bad album, but I can sense Fear Factory are losing their way a bit. Its all been downhill from Demanufacture...
:( They're my favourite band too...
Hmm, well maybe it will grow on you. I didn't like White Pony at first, it all sounded a bit crap, but it really grew on me after I'd listened to it for a while. I still prefer Around the Fur though.
Well hopefully it'll get better. I'll tell you what I think when I get it.
There are some good moments on it. I really like the guitar sound on "invisible wounds (dark bodies)"...
I think Adrenaline is the best Deftones Album. I really liked White Pony when it was released, but I'm getting a little fed up of it now. OVERKILL!
Adrenaline is very raw, which is good and bad in different ways (and in different moods). Around The Fur is sort of a bit deeper and less harsh, and then White Pony goes even further. I kind of like the middle ground, most of the time anyway.
I think my favourite Fear Factory moment is the intro to Smasher-Devourer... that's just the riff though ;)
The outro to Pisschrist does it for me...
Yup, that's pretty cool... so, where are the lyrics? =)
pardon?
Well, this is a lyrics thread, you're supposed to post lyrics to songs, and people guess the song, remember?
damn...I was enjoying that chill-out...ok...
Move over post race ! :D
Okay, a bit of an easy one people, 1982's the year ...
Quote:
Risin' up, back on the street
Did my time, took my chances
Went the distance now I'm back on my feet
Just a man and his will to survive
So many times it happens too fast
You trade your passion for glory
Don't lose your grip on the dreams of the past
You must fight just to keep them alive
oooh...I con't think.:(
I've just downloaded audiogalaxy too, and I can't think of anything to download.
Suggestions?
Survior: Eye of the Tiger.
Wahey! :) *Ahem*
Erm, songs.... Vader - Carnal is good, dunno if you like grindcore. Apart from that.... Know any Mudvayne? Best song in my opinion is Nothing To Gein. Hmm... I'll keep thinking. Oh Lost Prophets - The Fake Sounds Of Progress is good too (the song I mean although there are some other good songs on the album of the same name).
I'll keep thinking as I said.
Cool.
Mudvayne - I've got Nothing to Gein and Dig. Any others worth of note?
What about Bucks Fizz ? :D
Okay then :

Out on the wiley, windy moors
We'd roll and fall in green.
You had a temper like my jealousy:
Too hot, too greedy.
How could you leave me,
When I needed to possess you?
I hated you. I loved you, too.
What to download, hmmm ...
What kind of music you into Harry ?
Storytime , sing-along or nursery rhymes ?
To be honest, most of the album L.D.50 (the only one I have) is very similar, but Nothing To Gein and Dig are probably the best songs. Marginally.
Um, well anything with any of the words from Behemoth's suggested title for a Napalm Death song is probably alright by me =)
Alex - is it the Kate Bush version or the China Drum one?
very good, Kate Bushe's - had to look it up as I wasn't 100% sure what the hell she was wailing about :D
Great song this, from a movie in the late eighties (won't give too much away) :
Quote:
Special thanks to Bernie Taupin and Elton John*
I'm a cold heartbreaker
Fit ta burn and I'll rip your heart in two
An I'll leave you lyin' on the bed
I'll be out the door before ya wake
It's nuthin' new ta you
'Cause I think *we've seen that movie too
chorus here
With your ***** slap rappin'
And your cocaine tongue
You get nuthin' done
chorus here
*psst* download the China Drum version. Its fantastic. You'll love it!
Alex, what on Earth do you listen to?!
You Could be Mine: Guns n Roses.
I've been called dangeous / timebomb waiting to go off before because of my indecision and broad music taste - don't just stick to one type of music :D
I only have 1 rule - no country (though some of Shania Twain or Leanne Rhymes ain't too bad), and no techno (club, house etc's excellent, but this ***** you can't tell where 1 track ends & another begins, and it's just 1 beat, useless (nearly as bad as cast  )Quote:
Alex, what on Earth do you listen to?!
Anyway, 2 fav songs at the moment are Muse (don't know what it's called & don't think it's in the charts yet) & Sugarbabes - Run For Cover. :)
<devious>Will find some hard ones for you to try & get now ...</devious>

will do. This one's from '91 I think, oldie :Quote:
He came to town like a midwinter storm
He rode through the fields so
hansome and strong
His eyes was his tools and his smile was his gun
But all he had come for was having some fun
If it had't been...
If it had't been...
He brought disaster wherever he went
The hearts of the girls was to hell broken sent
They all ran away so nobody would know
and left only men cause of ?!?!??!?!
It's Cotton Eyed Joe!!! Should I remember that as well as I do?
Ohh man, I can't believe you know the lyrics to that song
D'oh!
:(
hehe..:D I know (some of) the lyrics to ScatMan too...
OUT!
Go and get your coat...
:( *Trudges to the door, carrying Shell Suit jacket over one arm...*
he-he ! :D
I remember that one too, wouldn't remember his others now though :
and I reckon it's about '93 this one, though can't be sure ....Quote:
Police them come an' now they blow down me door
One him come crawl through through my window
So then they put me in the back the car at the station
From that point on me reach my destination
When the destination reached it was the east detention
Where them whipped down me pants looked up me bottom so
Bah, new fangled nonsense...Here's one from me!
"Hush little baby, don't say a word,
And never mind that noise you heard..
It's the beast under your bed,
In your closet, in your head...."
No idea what yours is Alex. Jon's was Enter Sandman.
Indeed it was...Like Metallica?
Thought that would cause problems.
Informer - Snow
I like the music, yeah, but obviously the band are a bunch of cocksuckers ;) Especially Lars. He sucks the most dick.
How's about this then:
Quote:
Everybody needs a mother****er
Everybody needs a motherf*@!%r for a pillow ...
Is it brimful of Asha :D
Uhh no not quite... I remember telling my girlfriend (well she was at the time) that it was very true, every body did in fact need a bosom for a pillow, but she never seemed to agree.
I hope you set her straight !
So do we get any other clues then ?
The guy who sings it is Armenian. I think it's Armenian. Something like that.
Obviously System of a Down then. I don't have the album, so I couldn't be more accurate.
Hang on, I know it. Its either Suite-Pea or Sugar...
Yeah, it's Suite-Pee, or at least I'm pretty sure it is.
I thought of another song, Sick Of It All - Good Looking Out. Found out about it from jeff, I like it. Speaking of stuff Jeff's suggested to me, ever hear any Stormtroopers Of Death? They do some funny ballads ;) Some pretty cool songs too.
Pennywise - Bro Hymn is good too.
What about Static-X?
S.O.D was an Anthrax side-project was it not?
I really dont fancy punk/hardcore. I might give static-X a listen tho.
Uhh, I don't know about that SOD thing, but I don't think so.... well maybe.
Static-X is kinda weird, but I like. Try 'Push It' or 'I'm With Stupid'. They have a new album out soon, called 'Machine' in case you haven't noticed the publicity.
