Here's another one, which will be easy for anyone who's heard it:
Quote:
*Drum intro*
You're dead.
One more, this is the easy one:
Quote:
I am the one, <-Snip->, the outstretched grasping hand
My image is of agony, my servants rape the land
Obsequies and arrogant, clandestine and vain
Two thousand years of misery, of torture in my name
Hypocrisy made paramount, paranoia the law
My name is called religion, sadistic sacred *****
I twist the truth, I rule the world, my crown is called deceit
I am the emperor of lies, you grovel at my feet
I rob you and I slaughter you, your downfall is my gain
And still you play the sycophant, and revel in your name
And all my promises are lies, all my love is hate
I am the politician, and i decide your fate
I march before a martyred world, an army for the fight
I speak of great heroic days, of victory and might
I hold a banner drenched in blood, I urge you to be brave
I hold you to your destiny, I lead you to your grave
Your bones will build my palaces, your eyes will stud my crown
For I am Mars, the god of war, and I will cut you down
Ahhhhhhh i didnt even bother too look at it until i actually did look..damn i need to go to bed.. but the answer is!!
NEMA!! .umm heheh j/k i mean Vader:Carnal kickass song!!
i know the drum intro "your dead" song hehehe
but not the last one... i really suck with lyrics... so i might know it and NOT KNOW it here...heh
Yeah you gottem ;) Last one's still up for grabs though. Shouldn't be too hard, if you've heard it at least.
*Sigh* well since noone knows it, it's Motorhead - Orgasmatron, a big hit for them when they released it. A cover version was done by Sepultura, don't know about anyone else.
Let's see if you can get this one:
Quote:
sometimes, I feel the fear of uncertanty, stinging clear, and I, can't help but ask myself, how much I let the fear, take the wheel and steer.
"when you *waaaaaah* you *waaah waaaaa waaaaa*when you *waaaaaaaaaaaaa*"
Def Tones
You can't actually hear wat they're singing though.. sometimes..
Dennis - thats Drive by Incubus!
How about "Woke up on the wrong side of the bed today. A little bit less than nothing would go my way."
A real feelgood band.
I cant believe this threads been going so long and ive completely overlooked it. theres some real good taste in here.
How about:
Quote:
Face down, arms out, nailed to the cross of doubt.
Blood runs like rain, drowning for this world in vain.
Crown of black thorns, human skin ripped and torn.
Where is your saviour now?
Fear Factory - Pisschrist :)
Harry..........have you ever heard a group call The Perfect Circle? I don't know any of the lyrics yet but my son is going to their concert this weekend and I've heard their cd...not too bad. Thought you might like to check them out.
Yeah, 'A Perfect Circle', I've heard a couple of their songs and they're pretty good =] The singer is Maynard James Keenan from Tool, so they sound pretty similar. Jeff likes them I think, at least he likes one of their songs called 'Three Libras' anyway.
*another gold star for HarryW*
I like APC too. Judith is a cool song. Top video too.
Harry - U like Fear Factory?
Fear Factory's good, I prefer ABC to APC though.

Was meant to be the crash test dummies, but I guess this doesn't quite come accross on a post.

demanufacture
Alex - go back a page, I said it was Crash Test Dummies.
Behemoth - I like Fear Factory a lot, I have Demanufacture on CD and more on mp3.
Can anybody name the title and artist of this song?
(Don't ask me, I'm trying to find out myself)
Quote:
Sooner or later you know I'll be dead.. I'm a loser, I'm getting closer, to jumping off lifes little edge, I'm a loser.
I am pretty sure it is "loser" by "three doors down"
Not heard of them before, Just checked this Harry, sorry, overlooked that one & you got it:
Not fantastic lyrics, but a good band & song that NO ONE will be able to give me the answer to! :p :D   ;) :)Quote:
Dug myself a hole again,
lost my self control again,
hit my head on the nail again,
lost myself in the mail again....
My eyes were jaded...
So close to the centre I could not see...
But now they are fixed and -
Staring at the sacrifice to be made...
Two different songs..but by the same band:
1)
*Common Ruse dirty face
pretty noose is pretty hate
And i dont like what you
got me hanging from*
2)
*I've givin everything i need
I'd give you everything i own
I'd give in if it could at least be ours alone
I've given everything i could
To blow it to hell and gone
Burrow down in and blow up the outside world"
although im not totally sure, i'd hazard a guess at "Pretty Noose" and "Blow Up The Outside World", both by Soundgarden...
anybody got mine yet? a little obscure, I know, but its been 24 hours now...
I know nobody knows
where it comes and
where it goes
Any takers?
Right :) soundgarden.
Im still waiting on mine...!
No one knows it that's why  , what is it then Behemoth ?
Mine was Transistor, excellent band that's virtually unknown at the moment...
"Lost" by Neurosis.
Check it out on Napster (or similar)...worth a listen. If you don't like it straight away, be patient. Also try "Locust Star" and "Suspended In Light", and anything by "Tribes of Neurot" - the same band doing ambient stuff...
well, here r some of my fave song lyrics: (more 2 come)
"grandma wishing your sould could rest,
but its hard to digest with the size of the hole in your chest"
>DMX
>party up (up in here)
"hey kid, take my advice, you don't wanna step into a big pile of ****"
>limp bizkit
>my generation
"smoke weed, take pills, drop out of school, kill people and drink, and jump behind the wheel like it was still legal"
>eminem
>role model
"da da da da da, its the m********in d-o-double g">
>snoop dogg
>the next episode
"just victims of the in-house drive by, they say jump you say how high?"
>rage against the machine
>bullet in the head
"i am the nina, the pita, the santa-maria, the noose and the rapist, the fields overseer, the agents of orange, the priests of hiroshima, the cost of my desire, sleep now in the fire!"
>rage against the machine
>sleep now in the fire
That is a superb quote! I got this albumn months before the third single was release & just loved the start of this track :
Ok then what's this :Quote:
na na na na na, it's the mother *#!@?/= D O Double G
SNOOP DOGG !!.....................
Well it's hard to get by,
when your ass is the size,
of a small country.......
da da da da,
Anyone ever hear anything by Dust for Life or Union Underground???
No, is it good? I've got 'Killing The Fly' on mp3, but haven't heard of any of their other stuff.
I like it...but I like that Alice in Chains sound anyway.
Try the song Revolution Man.....also good!
Harry...how about Nickelback? I haven't heard them but someone told me I would like them.
He lost the right to have www.brucespringsteen.com to a fan club of his...the court ruled they had a better case for needing it! :D
It's a messed up world, isn't it??
Hehehe...just read some of the comments at the top here: http://www.brucespringsteen.com/messageboard/
That is one of the stupidest things I have ever heard!
if they were such fans they would give him the damn name.
I agree................100%.
Nickelback.... can't say I've heard of em, I'll check em out :)
