nahh, still think "the scum" is still going to win it again or maybe west ham  . we might get away with fa cup if we are lucky, can't see us winning the champions league though :(
OI, squeezer, at least we manage to play decent football without having to resort to draining the French national squad using large bundles of cash. ****ing gooners, just as bad as manure scum :p;):pQuote:

if arsenal could compete with the best with an all English team, I would be more than happy, but unfortunatley in this day and age, it's not gonna happen :(. What part of east end london does Di canio and Kanoute come from gaff  :p ;)
From overseas, as does the following 1st team players
Repka
Schemmel
DiCanio
Kanoute
Now, lets look at our home grown (i.e. UK) players playing 1st team:
James
Dailly
Winterburn
Sinclair
Cole
Carrick
Defoe
Lomas
Moncur
Hutchinson
If you look at the england squad, you have the following West Ham players in there:
Cole
Carrick
James
Sinclair
possibly Defoe if he's lucky
That's a pretty impressive number of England internationals.
How many from Arsenal?
Cole
Seaman
possibly the ginger brazilian, Parlour, but I very much doubt it
mornin.
td.
sole cambell as well and maybe Richard Wright :)
Yes, I am not doubting the fact that we have a very cosmpolitain side, but getting Quality english player at reasonable prices is completley ridiculous now. We have are youth policy which is comming along nicely with people Like Ashley cole, Mathew Upson and Jamaine Pennant starting to come through the ranks :) You have to admire some of wenger's signings though, with him bringing in players like Viera, Anelka, henry as Pretty unknown average players and making them into the super stars that they now are.
moaning :)
****ty crappy weather blimmin need holiday toss
Yeah, sorry, forgot Sol. Wright has no chance this year...Quote:

Quality english players are expensive (see Lampard to Chelsea, and he's not quality) - you do have the cash though!
LFC's current UK 1st team regulars
Kirkland
Wright
Caragher
Gerrard
McAllister
Barmby
(Redknapp - erm Doc Croc to everyone else, though I wouldn't want to go to work either with a missus like that at home)
Murphy
Heskey
Owen
And of those the following have full England caps . . .
Murphy
Heskey
Owen
Caragher
Barmby
Gerrard
Redknapp (Has caps but from so long ago that they've rotted away!)
Of course McAllister was a prominent Scottish international.
Whilst most of the rest have been mainstays of the Under 21 teams.
and of those going to Japan,
Murphy (possibly)
Heskey
Owen
Gerrard (if he stays uninjured)
I don't think Carrager should go, and I think the jury's out on Barmby...
What's wrong with having a normal toss?

Hi guys, how are you?
Hi Vicky!
Ian, LOL....the engineers in here are a definitely not my cup of tea......think Dilbert with much less personality!
Hi Vicky :)
Katie, going back to my pre warped ;) post. The fears that I had at the turn of the year about the company I work for going under, could now come a reality. I'm not dwelling on it or letting it get to me, just my CV is going to be doing the rounds again and hopefully something will come of it this time :)
I hope so, Ian....at least you've got a good network of people who can keep an eye out for jobs for you!
Just reminiscing ... where has the time gone.Quote:
London calling to the faraway towns
Now that war is declared and battle come down
London calling to the underworld
Come out of the cupboard, all you boys and girls
London calling, now don't look at us
Phoney Beatlemania has bitten the dust
London calling, see we ain't got no swing
'Cept for the ring of that truncheon thing
The ice age is coming, the sun is zooming in
Meltdown expected the wheat is growing thin
Engines stop running but I have no fear
Cos London is drowning and I live by the river
London calling to the imitation zone
Forget it brother, you can go it alone
London calling to the zombies of death
Quit holding out and draw another breath
London calling and I don't wanna shout
But while we were talking I saw you nodding out
London calling, see we ain't got no highs
Except for that one with the yellowy eyes
The ice age is coming the sun is zooming in
Engines stop running the wheat is growing thin
A nuclear error but I have no fear
Cos London is drowning and I live by the river
Now get this
London calling, yes I was there too
An' you know what they said - Well, some of it was true!
London calling at the top of the dial
an' after all this, won't you give me a smile?
I never felt so much a' like...
Maybe I should ask Marcel
right, that's my slavery for the day done. time to be shackled up with the rest of the commuters and head on back home for my Bowl of gruel. ;)
will drop (Although Pop is a completley normal expression over here KATIE!!!!! ;)) in tonight
ta for now :)
haven't heard of the Thames flood barrier then?Quote:
